This September, the Bridal Retail Success Academy returns to the Harrogate Bridal Show, hosting a group of industry experts ready to answer your questions and advise on how you can enhance your boutique’s potential.
The Bridal Retail Success Academy is returning to the Harrogate Bridal Show 2021!
The Bridal Retail Success Academy supports retailers in all aspects of running a successful business, through the Business Advice Clinics. They will host a series of one-to-one ‘Ask the Expert’ sessions across two days, covering a range of topics including marketing, social media, financial planning and sales. By attending thought-provoking sessions delivered by 7 industry-leading professionals, you will be armed with new skills and, in turn, help drive revenue for your business. Sessions will be available to book at the registration desk by the Business Advice Clinic, and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
The best way to enhance your bridal business is to embrace a culture of education, and you can’t have continuous improvement without continuous learning. Help improve your business by learning from the best and brightest professionals in the industry.

Anna Hare, owner of Pure Brides and founder of Your Retail Coach, has worked in retail for over 25 years is ready to combat any of your finance and marketing related questions. Awarded Best Bridal Retailer in England in 2019 for Pure Brides, Anna now wants to help other boutique owners grow their business and dedicates her time to helping deliver transformational change for her coaching clients.
Shannon Martin, owner of multi-award-winning boutique Dotty Bridal and founder of DOT Branding, has years of experience within the retail industry and understands the importance of providing outstanding customer service. DOT Branding aims to help businesses improve their branding and marketing strategies to increase online visibility, in turn positively impacting annual turnover.
Ruth Larkin, owner of Lark Bridal Ltd and Larkin Bridal Sales Academy, has extensive experience in the bridal industry with specific expertise in commercialisation, foreign expansion strategy and managing international sales channels. Ruth is an international business consultant and business mentor who also offers tailored training to the international retail industry as part of Larkin Bridal Sales Academy.
Abi Neill, owner of Abigail’s Collection & The Groom’s Room, is a bridal business advisor and mentor. Having won 28 awards within the industry, Abi has a wealth of knowledge on retail, sales, marketing, and customer service. As a regular contributor for Bridal Buyer, Abi is passionate about helping other business owners succeed, grow and increase profit and offers flexible coaching for business owners within the retail and bridal sector.
Jo Stott, owner of Jo Stott Consultancy, is an expert in bridal retail and customer service. Having founded multi-award-winning boutique Y.A.P Bridal, Jo offers her expertise to other national bridal business owners. Jo has also partnered with Maggie Sottero, offering a bespoke training programme for bridal retailers, covering everything from how to build a successful brand, to creating a unique shopping experience.
Megan Garmers is the founder and director of MG Hair and Makeup, as well as The Bridal Masterclass. With 25+ years’ experience in the beauty industry alongside 20 years in weddings, she now offers her two decades of knowledge in the form of business coaching. Megan also started The Bridal Masterclass Experience to offer online courses for those eager to upgrade their businesses and technology through immersive education for a new generation of brides.
Maria Musgrove-Wethey, owner of The Pantiles Bride and Go Bridal, and Christine Skilton, owner of Love U Forever, teamed up in 2020 to share their vast knowledge on the industry by offering training to other bridal boutique owners. Between them they have 40+ years of experience in bridal retailing. Maria is a regular contributor for Bridal Buyer and past judge at the Bridal Buyer Awards whilst Christine owns an advertising agency assisting retailers in growing their business via social media. |
