Recognised as ’The Oscars’ of the bridal industry, The Bridal Buyer Awards are widely-acknowledged as the most important and authoritative awards in the industry today. Bringing together more than 300 guests from all sectors of the bridal industry, including retailers, suppliers, designers and the media, the awards not only offer the opportunity to celebrate the success of all the finalists and winners, but provides an unrivalled networking opportunity as well as being a fun-filled evening with dinner, dancing and the all-important awards ceremony. 

Judged by a panel of experts, entries are meticulously assessed: to reach the shortlist entrants must meet rigid criteria, and so to become a finalist is a considerable achievement. As a designer with retailers throughout the U.K, it’s important for us to be involved in one of the biggest bridal events, the Bridal Buyer Awards, because we love to see the recognition of talent, community and mutual interests across all aspects of the wedding industry. After all the uncertainty of the recent years, we’re looking forward to finally being able to attend the Bridal Buyer Awards with like-minded people. to see and hear about all of the new achievements of our industry partners! Since this is our first time attending the awards in the U.K, we are eager to create new lifelong memories of everything the Bridal Buyer Awards have to offer.

The Bridal Buyer Awards are very important and highly prestigious. It is an amazing honour to be nominated and a dream come true to win! The awards event is a magical evening in the most captivating spa town of Harrogate North Yorkshire, England featuring lovely dining, music, dancing and celebrating. It is truly one of the most fun events in the global bridal industry and not to be missed. We can’t wait to celebrate our 25^th anniversary with everyone in attendance!

Madi Lane Bridal have sponsored the Bridal Buyer Awards again this year, as it is a wonderful way to recognise all the hard work, creativity and passion of retailers, stylists, and bridal designers in the UK. It is an event where we can dress to impress and enjoy celebrating the buzz of the bridal industry and the people that make it so special and unique. The Bridal Buyer Awards is an iconic awards night for the UK bridal industry, and we have been attending the Awards at Harrogate for 3 generations and over 30 years. After all of the hard work that goes into producing and supplying collections, the awards are a night to let your hair down and enjoy yourself! The awards recognise and support the talent within the industry, and it is support like this that continues to keep British bridal at the forefront of the industry worldwide. We won The Wedding Dress of the Year award in 2019 for Symphony, which was an extremely special moment - made even more so by the fact that this award is voted for entirely by brides. And it was presented to us by David Emanuel - what an incredible night!

True Bride

As the biggest event in the UK bridal industry, it’s a wonderful show of support and recognition for the hard work, passion and dedication that is present throughout the bridal world. The event is a time to come together as suppliers and retailers to celebrate everyone’s achievements. We can’t wait to attend the event with some of our stockists and raise a glass to all the nominees! It has to be winning Bridesmaid Manufacturer of the Year in 2019 was one of our favourite Bridal Buyer Awards memories!

UK Bridal Imports

The Awards are so highly regarded in the industry, and so supporting such a great set of awards along with the great opportunity to meet with everyone away from the show and enjoy a drink is wonderful - it’s also a great excuse to dress up too! It is such a great way to meet and celebrate the years successes with everyone while being more relaxed and along with supporting all those involved from retailers, designers and suppliers.
