How did you find the process of decorating?

Decorating ’The Studio’ was a really fun creative process. We knew that it would have a huge impact on how people saw our business, and the experience of those shopping in our boutique. We had a vision of a light, modern space that made our customers feel relaxed and inspired. We think by keeping the main spaces white and simple, with gold fixtures and blush velvet furnishings, we were able to achieve this.

Where did you find your inspiration for the interior design of your shop?

We were inspired by the space itself with its tall ceilings and lots of light flooding in. All of the brands we stock are really contemporary and we wanted to reflect this ’vibe’ in Love in Lace. Our key feature of our interior (aside from the stunning views out onto the surrounding countryside) is our main mirror. It makes a real statement, and everyone comments on it when they visit us. We refresh it seasonally to move with modern trends in floristry and when a bride choses a dress we capture them on social media in a ’Boomerang’ video in front of the mirror.

What kind of space have you created, and how does your interior convey this?

I think the three key words that sum up our space are contemporary, relaxed and inspiring. We love that brides can be inspired by their surroundings, be it by the flowers we use around our mirror, or the colour palette within our studio. The tranquil setting and exclusive hire of the boutique puts our brides and their tribe at ease.

Is there anything in your interior that makes your boutique stand out?

Our high ceilings, our focal mirror, our bi-fold glass doors that we open all the way in the summer, our huge dressing room. As we are based in a barn we don’t have window displays, so we are all about the impact as you walk through the door. We are very proud of our little boutique!

Finally, can you give us your top three tips for creating a stunning interior?

1. Remember that your interior will determine who you attract.

2. Be true to your own style.

3. Move with the times - don’t be afraid to make changes!
