Dessy

Dessy Collection by Vivian Diamond Inspired by high society on Long Island; Southampton mansions and endless stretches of beautiful beaches. The newest collection from this hugely clever label Introduces Maracaine jersey and body conscious full-length silhouettes. It’s all very glamorous this latest line-up, with lux chiffon, matte satin, and renaissance satin. Look out for empire and natural waistlines, v necklines, strapless, halters and one-shoulder gowns with flowing skirts, and there’s a gorgeous selection of cocktail-length form fitting lace dresses. Alongside the very chic neutral colours are midnight, purple, jade, emerald, hot pink, and vibrant red.

Lela Rose Inspired by a butterfly forest, there are crinkle chiffon dresses with draped skirts detailed with beaded belts or sashes. We love the Venice lace bodice gown with floor-length crinkle chiffon skirts and the structured gazar bodice with the wow-factor high-low skirt. Lela Rose’s slim cocktail-length frocks sport beaded belts for that suggestion of sparkle. Colours are
pastels, brights and neutral shades, so there is something for every taste, and every wedding theme.

Alfred Sung Maids Inspired by the 1960s. Think Twiggy. The new collection includes two great new fabric – sateen twill and chiffon knit – as well as dupioni and peau de soie in bright clear colours like aquamarine, hot pink, yellow, coral, lime green and midnight. Silhouettes are spot on- -trend, with strapless, halter, and v necklines, high-low skirts, peplums, cocktail-length pleated and slim skirts.

Social Bridesmaids Inspired by modern dance – stretch charmeuse short cocktail dresses to be worn again and again; new georgette draped bodices with high-low skirts and soft fold detailing. The colours are soft – rose, carnation, but there is also striking shades like regalia and midnight.
