Anna Georgina for bohemian brides

After designing exclusively for the private bespoke market, Kobus Dippenaar launched his Anna Georgina wedding range in 2012. This weekend at White Gallery London, buyers see designs from this stunning line

The Anna Georgina collection grew out of Dippenaar’s desire to take haute couture fashion and make it accessible to everyone. Designed to speak to confident, cosmopolitan women, the brand is rooted in the belief that each bride has a unique beauty.

The collection plays with opposites - masculinity and femininity, structure and fluidity, rich detail and striking minimalism. Deep necklines and backs plunge into bias-cut satin skirts and corseted bodices trail to skirts layered with lace, tulle and bejeweled satin.

The new collection has a boho edge with an emphasis on fine details. Satins are softer, chiffons less structured, and lace is used in a variety of forms from strong, guipure lace motifs to tiny, intricate edgings. Silhouettes vary from ethereal tulle skirts and sweeping ball gowns to sensual, fitted mermaid styles.

Boutiques and brides alike will love the options presented by this collection. Not only are separates right on trend, but gowns can be interchanged with a different skirt for a complete new look, too.
