After being the lead designer at Mon Cheri Bridals for over two decades, when the opportunity arose to include Martin Thornburg’s name in the branding, the brand leapt at the chance.

In time for the Spring 2018 collection, Mon Cheri Bridals introduces ‘Martin Thornburg – A Mon Cheri Collection’ and presents a whole new approach to bridal.

This collection focuses on feminine, romantic and whimsical looks all designed for a bride who wants to look and feel like herself on her wedding day.

Soft, sensuous fabrics are used alongside quality craftsmanship and delicate beading on fresh colour palettes to create dresses that will make brides feel like it was made especially for her.

“I created a whole new look for this collection - younger, sexier, and softer,” explains Martin Thornburg, “Each dress has a personality of its own and subtle, intricate design features as unique as each individual bride. This fresh new approach is one that will capture a bride’s femininity, sophistication, and sensuality.”

Each wedding dress that is created by Martin Thornburg is treated as a work of art and is considered to be as special as the bride that will wear it. Featuring striking details such as horsehair hemlines, crystal buttons and Swarovski embellishment each dress put together by Martin is breath-taking.

Summing up a Mon Cheri Bridals design, Martin reveals that they are “Feminine, dreamy and sexy,” and are designed to enhance the bride’s beauty, make her feel special and create wonderful memories on her wedding day.
