Catherine Parry

Catherine Parry

Featuring classic and timeless bridal styles with influences from bygone eras, Catherine Parry’s 2015 collection is one to be admired.

Bang on trend for this year, Catherine Parry’s latest line incorporates gowns with a selection of sleeve lengths, a winner for those wanting a more demure look. The collection also takes a great deal of influence from 1950s Hollywood and therefore glamorous silhouettes for this season include full-on ball gowns and beautiful A-lines, perfect for emulating Audrey Hepburn or Sophia Lauren’s timeless look.

As a new label Catherine Parry has made a significant commitment to advertising within a range of leading consumer titles. The brand’s marketing campaign is currently generating a growing number of enquiries from brides, yet there are currently many areas of the UK (including the North of England, The South East and South West) and Ireland that do not have a Catherine Parry stockist for the brand to direct relevant enquiries to.

The interest that the brand is attracting currently poses an excellent opportunity for retailers in these areas to exploit. With the majority of styles in the collection priced in the £1,000 to £1,200 sweet spot, this range ticks all the boxes.

Modeca

Modeca

Last year Modeca renewed its attention on the UK and for 2015 the Dutch brand will be continuing its push into the market with a strong emphasis on vintage and romantic looks.

The Modeca Comfort Stretch Lace Collection will take on a vintage slant with sexy and sophisticated silhouettes, while, on the other hand, there will be an air of romance about the range with flattering A-lines and striking tulle and lace skirts.

Modeca has been building quite a following with brides and it communicates with consumers via email, social media, print and online media and – most importantly – face-to-face. “Good communication is vital for us”, says Dick van Zutphen, director at Modeca. “We are there for our clients and we listen to what the industry needs as the business has changed over the past and competition is getting stronger.”

He adds that with Modeca, stockists can rely on prompt delivery and on immediate support when they need any special help to deliver direct service for a bride-to-be. “We at Modeca make all that happen, 24/7 if we have to,” adds Dick. “And not only through our online B2B platform – but also on personal basis.”
