With Bridal Week Harrogate returning this September, excitement is building for the unveiling of the latest trends in bridal, evening, and occasion wear.

We caught up with some of the industry’s exciting brands to hear directly from them about the inspiration, standout styles, and sustainable innovations behind their new collections. Here’s what they had to say:
1. What inspired this season’s collection?
This season’s collection is a celebration of modern elegance, inspired by the growing demand for timeless designs with a bold, fashion-forward twist.
We’ve pushed our creative boundaries with silhouettes and detailing that feel fresh and unexpected, while staying true to the classic, refined aesthetic our brand is known for. It’s a clear reflection of evolution—marrying heritage craftsmanship with the ever-changing landscape of bridal fashion.
2. Are there any standout pieces or key themes you want buyers to notice in this collection?
Absolutely—this collection introduces a range of new fabrics, including luxurious mikado and a shiny satin that catches the light like never before.
We’re also proud of the variety of laces and Chantillys, many of which are exclusive to this collection. Silhouette-wise, buyers will notice an emphasis on sculptural designs and elevated minimalism, with subtle but impactful details.
3. Innovative approaches?
Innovation was key this season. We focused on modernising our approach from the inside out.
We explored innovative textile blends, such as our new sequin iridescent disk fabric and updated mikado, which offer both visual impact and improved performance. These materials were selected not only for their elegance but also for their ability to distinguish each model and create a unique look for every bride.

1. What inspired the collection?
This season’s collection, designed by our founder Lona, is a bold response to the conventions of the modern Far East bridal market. It celebrates individuality by offering a wide range of styles and greater collection depth.
Lona’s vision is to inspire brides to move beyond the default comfort zone of modesty, embracing the freedom of personal expression, choice, and customisation.
2. Are there any standout pieces or key themes you want buyers to notice in this collection?
The standout designs in this collection flirt with form-fitting silhouettes and sheer fabrics, while preserving wedding day elegance through hand-stitched, fully customisable lace detailing. The collection depth encourages brides to involve themselves in our design process.
3. Sustainable focus?
At PLS by Lona, no two dresses are ever the same — each one is handmade by our talented team of tailors. Every gown is crafted using only the exact amount of material needed, minimising waste.
The retail division of our group, Pretty Little Shop, meets strong domestic demand for rental gowns — a model we believe to be the most effective and accessible sustainability strategy in bridal fashion.
1. What inspired your latest collection?
As a brand focusing on bespoke wedding dresses, we offer brides the opportunity to customise or co-create something completely new. The process itself becomes a memorable and symbolic part of their wedding journey.
2. Are there any standout pieces or key themes you want buyers to notice in this collection?
