London-based dress label Body Frock is moving into the bridal market with dresses that help to sculpt and refine a woman’s silhouette.
Body Frocks creates dresses that each have their own sculpting slip that is contoured to the individual dress design meaning no need for control underwear.
Established in 2011 by Melanie Davis, the brand has expanded significantly each season and this year is making the leap into brides and bridesmaids.
The collection is focussed on the “cool girl,” explained Melanie, “who doesn’t want the frill and flounce outfit but more of a Boho feel for her wedding”. Outfits in the 12 piece collection include directional jumpsuits and opaque lacy pleated dresses, all with a colour matched sculpting slip inside.
And the bridesmaids won’t be left-out either with sleeved lace dresses finished with soft scalloped edges in a range of soft pinks, blue and green shades. Retail prices for the bridesmaid dresses range from £180 to £250.
Melanie is currently on the look-out for bridal stockists.
