Can you give us the background of the brand?

With over 10 years’ of hands-on experience in designing bridal and occasion wear for women, merchandising and managing fashion-related business, I decided to start my own business back in 2018 and that’s how J’Adore Bridal Designs was established.

The brand intends to design and produce high-quality bridal fashion that is made to suit the likes and desires of the modern-day women, using the finest materials, inimitable detailing and reasonable pricing.

What are the brand’s secrets to success?

I have over 15 years’ experience working in fashion and garment industries for European, US and Japanese labels and because of this, I have my own unique definition of what wedding gowns should look like in the modern century.

I have integrated my comprehensive skills and aesthetic to create a diverse collection which has an elegant, chic feeling with a few unexpected details, because of this J’Adore Bridal Design is unlike any other brand out there.

Can you tell us three interesting facts about the brand?

  1. We welcome all of our clients to provide their own bespoke ideas and then we will assist them to create the dream wedding dresses with our professional knowledge
  2. Our designs are exquisite and fashion-forward but don’t come with an expensive price point
  3. J’Adore stands for Jenn adores

What is your favourite ever design?

My favourite design has to be the first wedding dress I ever designed for the Jenn.y Couture collection – it was classic with a twist.

The gown featured all over floral lace appliqué with metallic silver embroidery details on the dress. It was blush lined and had a sparkling sequin embroidery underlay and a pair of long flowy tulle straps. We used 10 yards of lace to create the gown and it took over 100 hours to attach it stitch by stitch. It also my daughters favourite gown so it’s very special to us.

Can you tell us about your collections?

J’Adore Bridal Design carries two labels – Jenn.y Couture and JABD. Our first-ever collection, Jenn.y Couture is classic and deluxe. The label focuses on couture with a variety of sophisticated designs created to fulfil the needs of classy brides-to-be.

The latest collection JABD is designed exclusively for The Harrogate Bridal Show and will RRP between £600 and £1,000. It focuses on simplicity and affordability and the collection includes a variety of sleek silhouette designs made to fulfil the need of modern brides and destination weddings.

We will be bringing all 13 pieces from our Jenn.y Couture collection to the show including a lace appliqué short wedding dress with a detachable tulle overskirt. Alongside this, we will be showcasing five pieces from our the new JABD line to give you all a glimpse of what is to come.

Where do you see the bridal industry in five years?

I believe that in the next five years customers will look for more bespoke and personal designs, such as personal embroidery with the name of the bride and groom, wedding date or a love quote that is exclusively for them.

I also believe that there we will see an increase in independent bridal designers and brands in the industry alongside more varied options for same-sex couples. Finally, I think that there is going to be a higher quality of designs but with more competitive pricing and shorter production time.

What’s next for J’Adore Bridal Design?

In the near future, we will be launching our first ever occasion wear collection. JABD will be launched at the end of this year and will include both bridal and occasion wear. We are so excited to share it with you all!

J’Adore Bridal Design will be exhibiting at The Harrogate Bridal Show on Stand: M6. Register for the show here so you don’t miss out.
