Can you talk us through the latest collection?

For our Autumn Winter 19 collection, our focus has been to introduce more wide fit options as well as creating bridal styles that follow the current trends in footwear fashion. We’ve taken inspiration from vintage shoes and developed them into bridal styles such as Belmont and Reanne, and occasion styles such as Rosie.

A key trend in materials are snake prints, like our Hannalee sandals, and mesh detailing on styles such as Hinoa, Helka and Luna.

What’s different this year?

This year, we were very excited to launch our first-ever trainer Zeera; it’s proven to be a very popular shoe! We have also been putting a lot of thought and craft into the styling of our bridal range. We’ve taken inspiration from our perennial favourites such as Protea and Radiance and developed them with new trims, embellishments and varying heel heights.

In addition to the styling, we have focused on creating shoes that cater to the wide fit market, so now we have more bridal and occasion shoes for all.

What bridal shoe trends are you seeing this year?

We have seen a sudden increase in the popularity of vintage styles. Two of our peep-toe shoes that were introduced earlier this year, Quincy and Quentin, have been received well with women admiring their vintage and traditional style.

There has also been a rise in crystal embellishment and mesh details on shoes. This is why we have fashioned styles such as Lola or Hallun to incorporate crystal accents and caged mesh details. The more detail, the more glam!

Can you talk us through your relationship with stockists?

We love our stockists. When we started our business as a wholesaler back in the 1980s, having a strong relationship with our stockists is what has helped and continues to help us grow. We provide stock items as we hold stock of all lines that are currently available and we have no minimum on how many styles can be ordered.

We know the importance of making every experience unique for brides and we support our stockists in every way we can. We also love to have a chat and catch-up with our stockists over the phone.

Why should retailers stock shoe brands like Paradox?

We’re a family-run brand with a small, albeit brilliant, team. We pride ourselves over quality, not quantity. Each of our products are designed with extensive detail and are unique.

We ensure the quality of all of our products is of the highest standard and if anything should need to be addressed, our excellent customer service will guarantee that we will resolve any issue as quickly and easily as possible.

What are your favourite designs from the new collection? What do you predict will be popular?

Personally, we’re a huge fan of our Hannalee snake print sandals. Their iridescence is stunning and are a perfect companion for a celebration.

Of our bridal range, it’s the combination of lace and metallics from our Reanne peep-toe that will be a stand-out of the collection. In addition to this, we have added a new ivory option to our beloved wide fit courts Lavine and we are sure this will be popular amongst the brides.

What’s next for Paradox London?

We have designed shoes that provide for the wide fit market and this is something we intend to develop. We want to introduce more wide fit bridal lines so we can cater for as many brides as we can. We will continue to explore looking at new materials and details for designing shoes so that all of our future collections will be unique and of the highest quality.

We will be expanding the brand into other product areas towards the end of the year so make sure you keep an eye out for us in the future.
