The Theme for London Bridal Fashion Week 2019

After the success of 2018’s London Bridal Fashion Week (LBFW) and White Gallery, we are eagerly awaiting 2019’s event – which is set to be even more spectacular. Both shows will this year be embracing the nation’s heritage – the event will celebrate London with an immersive British theme.

Who’s Attending in 2019?

There’s already an impressive exhibitor list, with everyone from global brands such as Maggie Sottero and Justin Alexander to iconic designers including Andrea Hawkes, Savin London and Eliza Jane Howell.

The world-leading fashion event draws on London’s strength as one of the leading capital cities in the world, as well as an international centre for arts, culture, fashion and business, to create a bridal fashion event that attracts a global audience of buyers and press, including all the UK’s key stockists.

London Bridal Fashion Week 2018 in Review

Discussing 2018’s show, Phoenix Gowns commented: “The combined location of London Bridal Week and White Gallery meant that we were able to greet existing stockists and meet new ones in an easily accessible area. We are looking forward to returning to LBFW in 2019.”

Having these two popular events held under one roof ensures that both exhibitor and retailer audiences benefit and can feel confident enough in the success and scale of the show, that it reduces the number of events they need to invest in attending each year. Wendy Rivera, from Do You Speak Bride, said: “It’s the place to be. This is where people from all over the world come.”

The London Bridal Fashion Week Venue

The show will once again be held at ExCeL London. It is the perfect platform for this type of international event. “Last year, exhibitors and visitors commented on how easily accessible they found the new venue, and how many fantastic bars and restaurants there were in the area,” says Cassandra Roberts, Ocean Media’s Head of Content and Marketing.

The purpose-built exhibition space is undeniably in a great location; it is easily accessible by train, plane, car and even bus. It’s just five minutes away from London City Airport with two on site Docklands Light Railway Stations that connect the venue with central London.

What’s more, there’s a number of free parking spaces that the show organisers have secured for both exhibitors and visitors. With the advantages of London on the doorstep, the ExCeL experience will be a hub of activity for international business.

Where You Can Stay

“Our dedicated concierge team will be on hand to assist exhibitors and visitors in all aspects of their visit,” says Cassandra. “Fantastic rates have already been secured with local hotels, and exclusive discounts will be available at local bars and restaurants. Look out for our afterhours guide, which will give you the inside scoop on how to make the most of your visit!”

Both White Gallery and London Bridal Fashion Week will hold their own fashion shows, as well as some exclusive private previews. There will be an expanded Fashion Show Theatre programme this year, meaning that visitors will get to see even more new styles and get an even better insight in to the upcoming trends for the year ahead.

Business Advice at London Bridal Fashion Week

In addition, there will be an extended Business Advice Clinic and Seminar programme, helping to ensure that all visitors have as valuable an experience as possible. These educational and informative sessions will be run by industry experts and have been specifically designed to advise retailers on all aspects of running a successful business.

Catering and Afterhours Additional Extras

It’s also worth noting that there are first class hospitality and catering facilities available within the event too – there is a Champagne Bar, Cocktail Bar and VIP area to name just a few. Visitors should also make the most of some of the afterhours parties where the industry can come together, network, and make new contacts in a relaxed environment. There will be Champagne receptions held after some of the fashion shows, and there is the RBA party, a super fun affair that will be held at the Cutty Sark.
