Michelle Bridal Caters for Curves

Michelle Bridal Caters for Curves

Brides around the world covet the unsurpassed fit and flattering silhouettes of the Michelle Bridal range devoted exclusively to brides with curves, UK sizes 10-36.

Designer Phyllis Brasch Librach emphasizes details and construction that accentuate the assets of the curvy bride. Stockists and brides love the flattering fit and adore the keen price point.

Librach brings more than a decade of experience in designing wedding, formal and prom gowns exclusively for curvy women and teens. A former journalist, she traded deadlines for hemlines, when she failed to find a fabulous prom frock that rocked for her curvy teenage daughter.

The Sahara Bridal Gown (MB1901) is a favourite of stockists in the UK; they love the beaded bodice with supportive straps and gush over the tiered ballgown skirt for brides-to-be. Meanwhile, curvy brides cherish the romantic off-the-shoulder bodice and simple elegance of the Gwenyth Bridal Gown (MB1812). Brides love the fit and flatter of our perfected A-line silhouette and comfortable lace-up back with modesty panel.

Michelle Bridal is a division of Sydney’s Closet, a leading designer from the USA dedicated exclusively to plus-size special occasions dresses. Michelle Bridal gowns are sold at fine shops in the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, Central and South America.

A History of Allure Bridals

A History of Allure Bridals

Known for their beading, floral appliqués, dramatic backs, and perfect draping, every Allure wedding dress includes details to set it apart and make brides shine.

But where does the story of this bridal giant begin?

Allure Bridals was founded as a family-owned fabric store in Bartlett, Tennessee, which quickly expanded to include a bridal salon under the same roof. Knowledge of fabric and design effortlessly lent itself to bridal gown design, and Allure debuted its first collection under the name Exclusive Bridals.

Exclusive Bridals was small and unadvertised, curated from the needs of local brides in Tennessee. In 1997, the collection expanded to include the flagship Allure Bridals line, which was nationally advertised.

By 2007, the bridal salon officially closed its doors to focus fully on bridal design and manufacturing, which resulted in seven unique bridal collections alongside other collections for the bridal party.

Allure Bridals' collections filled a global demand for elegant, affordable bridalwear, and they saw it is a privilege to expand their reach and work alongside international retailers.

After a five-year partnership with SB Wedding and Fashionwear, Allure Bridals ended their distribution contract.

Allure Bridals brands will be at London Bridal Fashion Week in March 2019, so make sure you head to the show to check them out.

Sottero and Midgley’s Latest Collection

Sottero and Midgley’s Latest Collection

The voluminous ballgown skirt is comprised of tulle and finished with crystal buttons over zipper closure and there is a bodice lining layer included for added coverage.

The designers behind Sottero and Midgley’s Bardot Collection Spring 2019 took inspiration from ‘en plein air’, the method of painting outdoors. The practice came as quite a shock for the Victorian Age and has since become synonymous with misty European hamlets, bold southwest horizons and romantic scenes.

In this digital age, ‘en plein air’ conjures sensations of vast and vivid surroundings, and the Bardot Collection by Sottero and Midgley is a celebration of our most intrepid art forms.
