What, where and when?

This autumn’s Textile Forum, is set to take place from 10th-11th October (between 10am and 6pm) at One Marylebone, London. As a luxury fashion fabric fair, this event is ideal for designers of bridalwear, menswear and occasionwear who are looking to source quality fabrics and accessories with small minimums.

The event will showcase the largest range of luxury fabrics that the Textile Forum has seen to date, as high quality fabrics from an array of origins will be on offer.

Event Director, Amy, Says...

“Today’s fabric buyers are as keen to know the story behind the fabrics they have chosen as they are to ensure that the designs are on trend; provenance is really important these days as designers are looking to ‘connect’ with their suppliers," explains Amy Packham, Textile Forum’s Event Director.

“At this October’s show we have many exhibitors who have a long history of producing the finest, specialist fabrics, constantly improving their quality and investing in new developments to meet today’s designers’ exacting specifications,” Amy continued.

Who’ll be there?

AnBella Designs, from Antex Broderie, is a newcomer this year. As specialists in Schiffli machine embroidery, they will be showcasing their range of low minimum order and limited edition designs at this Autumn’s Textile Forum. Dentelles Méry, who produce Calais lace using traditional leavers lace machines, will also be exhibiting at the show for the first time.

Alternatively, find the established Jane Makower, who has been selling into the textiles sector for many years, with her most popular core lines, including corded lace, transparent tulle, duchess satin, moss crepe and needlecord at the autumn event.

For those after groomswear fabrics, new exhibitor Higgs & Higgs brings European-made cotton prints and wool blend fabrics designed for classic menswear.

And Finally...

“This season’s Textile Forum has once again raised the bar on the variety of collections available to designers looking to source fabric and accessories for their current and future seasons’ collections,” confirms Amy.
