After winning the 2018 Bridal Buyer Award for Best Supplier Customer Service, followed by the hugely successful launch of the Decadence collection earlier this year, Catherine Parry is a British bridal label that’s continuing to go from strength to strength.

The Justin Alexander bride appreciates classic elegance with a hint of modern chic styling. With a focus on clean, classic gowns and figure-flattering silhouettes, the Spring/Summer 2020 collection embodies that.

Delicate, dimension laces add a hint of romance to the bodice and eye-catching train details will wow guests as she walks down the aisle. Pearls and beading adorn the cuff of an A-line, the trim of a clean ball gown, and line the sleeves of a stunning fit and flare.

The new collections draw inspiration from all the latest trends, the superior quality, construction and fit are all factors that make them worthy finalists in two categories at this year’s Bridal Buyer Awards.

Ladybird Couture has a slightly higher price point than the other collections, retailing up to £2,100. Michael’s Bridal Fabrics is a family business offering a fast, reliable and friendly services. With no minimum order value, they mainly supply to bridal manufacturers, bridal designers and fabric shops.

New for this season is some fresh Guipure laces in stripe designs. There are also quite a few new designs of narrow crystal (and pearl) edgings and various designs of new motifs including some belt pieces.

Michael’s Bridal Fabrics have also increased the number of beaded/crystal back panel designs which have received a lot of attention at recent trade shows. Also new for this season are several new qualities of plain fabrics, most of them being soft but having enough weight to drape well.

At the show, the brand will be presenting the sensational bridal collections from Mary’s Bridal and Lo’Adoro by Rachel Allan, the bridesmaids and flower girls collection and finally the Rachel Allan prom collection that includes the award-winning curve range and junior prom.

Each Collection is carefully created to offer a unique and individual design story.

Marys Bridal is based on traditional values and silhouettes with a fresh interpretation of bridal style. While maintaining the classic charm the collection has been known for, the Spring 2020 collection adds depth, new fabrications and a soft colour palette of warm ivories, delicate blushes and romantic champagnes.

Lo’Adoro Bridal by Rachel Allan offers a sophisticated, luxurious and modern design. The collection was based on traditional bridal silhouettes whilst re-inventing them with new fabrications, volumes and modern-day sophistication.

Incorporating blush tones, glitters, romantic brocades and sumptuous silk fabrics the entire collection is created with the modern bride in mind.

Rachel Allan Prom 2020 is about playful bright colours, glittering beads and feminine details. The 2020 prom girl wants girly silhouettes, crystallized sophistication and Instagram-worthy colours.

Fitted silhouettes have always been a Rachel Allan staple and they are bringing the mermaid back full force! The brand are introducing bright happy colours and radiant crystal shine that has made Rachel Allan thrive in the industry. While Enzoani and Badgley Mischka push the boundaries of couture, ÉLYSÉE focuses on complementing the traditional bride. When designing the latest collection, the brand wanted to design gowns that will feel accessible to most brides, without sacrificing quality and fit that Enzoani is so well known for.

The collection is inspired by Neoclassical art and architecture and uses modern silhouettes to accentuate and contour the figure. Expect to see dresses that are a modern update on classical forms, well-fitted, made from a variety of eye-catching fabrics, cost conscious, and targeting the aesthetic of the mainstream bride.
