Essential Info

The Harrogate Bridal Show 2019 will be held at The Harrogate Convention Centre, Ripon Road, Harrogate from Sunday 8th to Tuesday 10th September. As the UK’s largest bridal trade show, this year’s event is set to be a great success with over 350 brands in attendance.

Opening Times:

Sunday 08 September – 09.30am - 6.30pm

Monday 09 September – 09.30am – 6.00pm

Tuesday 10 September – 09.30am – 4.30pm

Bridal brands such as Maggie Sottero, Enzoani and Allure will all be exhibiting at the trade show alongside new exhibitors Selestia, Kiss Me Kate and Madi Lane Bridal.

What’s On

New to the show this year is the ‘Ask The Experts’ area which will offer one-to-one sessions covering a range of topics including marketing, PR, and sales. The Ask The Experts booths can found on the 1st floor in the Queens Suite Foyer where you can make appointments. Bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wendy Adams, Event Director says, “We are so excited about the new Ask The Experts area. These sessions will allow you to gain free advice and helpful tips from industry experts to help your business flourish – so don’t miss out, get there early and book your slot.”

The well-anticipated fashion shows will also return to Harrogate this year with many prominent brands taking to the catwalk. Expect to see the latest bridal fashion trends, innovative designs and a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming season.

How to Get There

If you are driving to The Harrogate Bridal Show from the South, take the M1 and A1(M) before leaving at Junction 45 (Wetherby) then take the A661 to Harrogate. If travelling from the North, take the A1(M) and exit at Junction 47 (Knaresborough) then follow signs to Harrogate.

The Harrogate Convention Centre has one large underground car park, which will be open on a pay-and-display basis throughout the exhibition. Alternatively, there are a few other carparks in the surrounding area.

If you are travelling to the trade show by train there is a regular service connecting Harrogate with the main rail network via York and Leeds. Additionally, there is a direct, daily connection to London.

For visitors travelling by plane, the closest airport to The Harrogate Convention Centre is Leeds Bradford International. British Airways run daily flights between LBA and Heathrow and there are regular flights from many connections worldwide, including Paris, Amsterdam and Dublin.

 

Things To Do

Aside from attending the show, you can also take advantage of the fabulous networking events, including the Sunday evening fashion show, complete with bubbles, and the BBSA party. The Bridal Buyer Awards are also an annual highlight and allow you to celebrate the industry’s successes across the past year. Tickets include welcome bubbly, red/white wine, a three-course meal, entertainment and access to the after-awards party and can be booked using this link.

Additionally, if you have some free time, Harrogate has a fantastic selection of boutique restaurants, cafes and bars, meaning there are plenty of places to take a team break or catch up with industry friends.
