Did you know that during this lockdown retailers who have been ordered to shut are able to offer a Click and Collect service?
In the UK, lockdown 2.0 has well and truly commenced, resulting in bridal retailers closing their shops for the second time this year.
From Thursday 5th November the Government have stated that Click and Collect services and delivery services can continue and are not affected by the current restrictions. The Government rules state that as long as a customer does not enter your premises, you can operate a Click and Collect service. All normal Covid measures are to be implemented during Click and Collect.
This is great news for retailers with dresses due for collection this month. While this isn’t the ideal scenario, it could help with cash flow during this difficult time. Allowing brides to collect their dresses in lockdown means you can receive the remaining balance for the gown. While a bride will not get to finish their journey in the way you had hoped, it’s important to remember that picking up your wedding dress is going to be exciting regardless.
