In many aspects bridal has retained its much-loved traditions of ballgowns and fishtails, however over the past five years the industry has seen a real shift in consumer attitudes and approaches to wedding dresses. We are now seeing a new landscape of modern brides who are fashion conscious and trend-led.

The name change comes as the show is striving to champion that fashion element of the bridal industry, showcasing to the media, buyers and wider industry that bridal is to be taken seriously in the world of mainstream fashion.

London Bridal Fashion Week incorporates luxury bridal buying event White Gallery for the second year in the row, meaning retailers will be able to shop from manufacturers and high-end designers all under one roof.

Key exhibitors include Alan Hannah, Allure Bridals, Andrea Hawkes, Angel B, Bianco Evento, Bramley Rodgers, Brian Chen, Casablanca Bridal, Catherine Deane, Charlotte Balbier, Christian Koehlert, Cizzy Bridal, Dando London, Demetrios, Diane Legrand, Eddy K, Eglantine Créations, Elbeth Gillis, Eliza Jane Howell, Ella Rosa, Emma Bridals, English Rose Bridal, Enzoani, Eternity Bride, Gino Cerruti, Hayley Paige, Hilary Morgan, Ivory & Co, Jupon, Justin Alexander Bridal, Kenneth Winston, Ladybird, Lillian West, Lilly, Lou Lou, Maggie Sottero, Mark Lesley, Marylise, Mikaella Bridal, Morilee, Novias, Omnisew, Paloma Blanca, Paul Zeni, Phoenix Gowns, Private Label by G, Rachel Allan, Rachel Simpson, Rasha London, Richard Designs, Romantica, Ronald Joyce, Rosa Couture, Savin London, Sincerity Bridal, Sottero & Midgley, The House of Nicholas, The Perfect Bridal Company, Theia, Ti Adora, Twilight Designs, Victoria Kay, Watters, White Rose Bridal and Zetterberg Couture.

The 2019 event celebrates the best of British with a number of exciting themed features. Visitors can expect to see a garden party inspired Champagne Bar, vintage-themed Cocktail Bar and a traditional Afternoon Tea Room VIP Lounge among the feature areas. The 2019 event will also feature a larger seminar theatre and even more business advice clinics for attendees to take advantage of.

There will be an extensive fashion show programme, with Allure, Coya, Ronald Joyce and Morilee confirmed to run private shows, amongst others.

Founder of Justin Alexander, Justin Warshaw, commented: “We are thrilled to be joining an outstanding group of exhibitors at London Bridal Fashion Week 2019. We had heard there was great energy, education and excitement at London Bridal Fashion Week last year and did not want to miss out!”

Director of UK Operations for Rachel Allan says “London was an incredible platform for us to launch the New Rachel Allan and Mary’s Bridal collections to the UK and Europe. We were thrilled with the response to the brand and delighted to see so many customers attending the show and visiting our stand. It is such an important and exciting show for the bridal industry, housed in our country’s capital city attracting customers from far and wide. We are excited to be part of all this again in 2019.”
