Take the time to think about what you’re going to write, what your strengths are and what makes you stand out from the crowd.

You’ll need to make an account on the website if you haven’t already, and answer questions for each category you want to enter. Don’t rush – you can save your work as you go along so you don’t have to complete each entry in one sitting.

There’s no limit for how many categories you can enter – however, we recommend focusing on a strong entry for one or two categories. Quality over quantity!

If you’re wondering how to create a winning entry, one of the judges from The Bridal Buyer Awards 2017 reveals all.

The winners will be announced on 10th September 2018, during the Harrogate Bridal Show. The black-tie event attracts more than 600 guests from across the bridal industry – making it an excellent networking event, as well as a great party!

The Judging Process

Meet the judges from The Bridal Buyer Awards 2018 here, and read up on the steps your entry will go through.

Step 1: Answer all the questions on your form and submit it.

Step 2: Your entry will be checked by an independent team to ensure it meets all of the criteria. Secret shopper checks can be used at random to ensure all the information submitted is correct.

Step 3: Providing your entry passes stages one and two, it will then be reviewed by our category judges. All judging is carried out independently and confidentially via an online portal. Judges will review and select up to six finalists within their category. Entries are awarded between one and six points and judges must offer detailed reasoning for their top three choices.

Step 4: Once all judges have completed reviewing the entries, scores across all of the categories are collated – resulting in a set of finalists in each category!

Step 5: Finalists will be notified by email and the winners will be announced at the Bridal Buyer Awards ceremony – taking place on the 10th September in Harrogate.
