Pantone is a trend forecasting and colour consultancy recognised around the world as a leading source of colour for the design industry. Pantone have announced their Fashion Colour Trend Report Autumn/Winter 2018 ahead of London Fashion Week. The shades in this report are those we can expect to see plastered across runways and spilling into all things bridal.

The palette is made up of 17 colours, including a combination of autumnal hues and some more surprising shades. Five of the shades making up the palette are dubbed ‘classic’, and included in the classic range are creamy, very bridal relevant shades Almond Buff and Tofu.

Laurie Pressman, Vice President of Pantone Color Institute, explains how Pantone’s new palette will affect the bridal industry: “The styles and colours seen on London runways each season have an unmistakable influence on fashion and culture throughout the year. These colour inspirations translate to the carefully selected hues of bridal gown accessories and bridesmaids’ dresses. From the creamy white Tofu, to Mellow Rose and Crocus Petal - we expect to see these colours perfuse bridal fashion this year.”

Be sure to keep an eye on the 17 most important shades for Autumn/ Winter and how these could affect your buying.
