Bridal fashion has never been as bold and as daring as it is today, and London Bridal Week and White Gallery are the prime locations to ensue you’re ahead of the trends. Whilst the taste for classic, romantic wedding dresses will never disappear, brides today aren’t afraid to think outside the box either. Contemporary, cool bridal designs will be everywhere at the shows – with British brands Charlie Brear, Savin London and Coco Amore leading the way with their edgy designs.

You’ll see daring details, sheer fabrics and unique accessories, such as delicately embroidered overlays and bold bridal jackets on display – perfect for the bride who wants a look as unique as she is. Bridal fashion houses like Gemy Maalouf and David Fielden will be continuing the couture feel with unusual shape and structure work designed to thrill high-fashion brides.

For those that are looking for something more traditional, there’s plenty to appease you. Morilee and Ronald Joyce will be showcasing their elegant creations at London Bridal Week, and Mark Lesley is set to display timeless designs from their bridal brand and those from Donna Salado too. Ellis Bridals will be exhibiting beautiful gowns featuring classic lace detailing and high neck detailing inspired by graceful designs from eras gone by.

Hints of colour are still going strong – whether it’s the subtle shimmer of a metallic or a dreamy blush-hued fabric, designers are recognising the growing appetite for something different. Colourful floral detailing and pastel patterns are an easy and effortless way for your brides to ensure all eyes are firmly on them on the big day. Brands such as Victoria Kay, Phoenix Gowns and Zetterburg Couture all feature hints of colour in their collections, paving the way for brides who want a bolder take on the traditional bridal look.

That daring, sexy wedding day style that has been taking social media by storm is not going away in a hurry. Pronovias will be showing their St Patrick and La Sposa collections, full of audacious lace details and low necks and backs that are guaranteed to raise temperatures. Casablanca will also be sharing their collection of stunning dresses featuring plunging necklines, thigh-skimming splits and figure-hugging fabrics and Enzoani will have their three collections ready to excite attendees with their effortless glamour and sensual styles.

Brands such as House of Mooshki, Eliza Jane Howell and Rita Mae will be bringing the vintage glamour to White Gallery and London Bridal Week. House of Mooshki are famous for their shorter-length wedding dresses available in a playful palette of pastel hues, whilst Eliza Jane Howell harnesses the breath-taking glamour of the golden era with eye-catching embellishment and decadent detailing.

If you are looking for classic couture during your visit, you’ll be charmed by Alan Hannah’s ‘Veritas’ collection, and Sassi Holford’s stylish new designs – both of which can be fully appreciated in their private fashion shows. Sleek, satiny creations from brand such as Christie Couture and Paloma Blanca can also be viewed at London Bridal Week.

Billowing boho styles continue to prove popular with brides, and a selection of the Australian bridal brands that helped to spark the trend will be present – including Karen Willis Holmes and French Collection by Wendy Makin. Willowby from Watters, Elbeth Gillis and Wilderly by Allure will also be adding to the rustic romance at London Bridal Week and White Gallery.
