Allure Bridals

Allure Bridals is known for its diverse range of wedding dresses. The company had humble beginnings as a family-owned fabric store in Tennessee - it evolved to become a bridal boutique for locals and, a few years later, ventured into manufacturing wedding dresses. With the flagship label Allure Bridals, this brand also incorporates others such as Allure Couture, Allure Romance, Madison James, Wilderly Bride, and Abella, each providing a fresh take on bridal for brides around the world.

They said this on the awards: “Allure Bridals is thrilled to once again be participating in the Bridal Buyer Awards! After three long years, we are delighted to be part of this amazing night of networking and highlighting the best of the best in the UK bridal industry.”

Morilee & Ronald Joyce

Two of the most lauded names in bridal, Morilee and Ronald Joyce are names to know. Designed by the formidable Madeline Gardner, Morilee is created in New York, and has a brilliantly elegant, pretty style - the dresses are, above all else - utterly romantic. Ronald Joyce offers luxurious wedding dresses that are designed in the UK by Veni Infantino. Veni is well-known for her unique gown staples, such as couture touches, showstopping sleeves and boho finishing touches.

Here’s what they had to say: “This is such a key night in the bridal industry’s event calendar, and so it feels so special to be part of it. There is so much to celebrate in the industry, this is one of the most fun-filled events for retailers and suppliers to come together at. The Awards really inspire us all and give us a reason to have a party!"

Calla Blanche

Calla Blanche is all about modern day elegance. Their inclusive collection has been designed to tailor to the needs of all brides, transporting them into a fairy tale.

On the awards they said: “As a designer with retailers throughout the UK, it’s important for us to be involved in one of the biggest bridal events, the Bridal Buyer Awards, because we love to see the recognition of talent, community and mutual interests across all aspects of the wedding industry. After all the uncertainty of the recent years, the Bridal Buyer Awards bring like-minded people together."

Casablanca Bridal

Casablanca Bridal was founded in 1997 by Kevin and Gloria Lu, with the aim of offering every bride an elegant, detailed wedding dress. 25 years later, and Casablanca Bridal has over 1,300 domestic and international retail partners. They have three sister labels including Beloved by Casablanca Bridal, Amaré Couture, and Le Blanc.

Casablanca said the awards were: "a magical evening in the most captivating spa town of Harrogate, featuring lovely dining, music, dancing and celebrating. It is truly one of the most fun events in the global bridal industry and not to be missed.”

Madi Lane & Evie Young

Crafted by the amazingly talented Liz Young, Madi Lane dances between modern ingenuity and timeless sophistication. Madi Lane gowns are both aspirational and attainable, exclusive pieces that embrace modern contemporary couture. Evie Young is Madi Lane’s sister label - it feels both fresh and empowering. The collections are specifically designed to appeal to contemporary women, and to represent synergy and femininity.

They said this on the awards: “Madi Lane Bridal has sponsored the Bridal Buyer Awards again this year, as it is a wonderful way to recognise all the hard work, creativity and passion of retailers, stylists, and bridal designers in the UK. It is an event where we can dress to impress and enjoy celebrating the buzz of the bridal industry and the people that make it so special and unique. The Bridal Buyer Awards encourage and inspire us to be the best we can possibly be!”

Romantica & Mon Cheri Bridals

Devon-based Romantica is a family owned and run British business since its inception over 30 years ago. Through the eyes and drive of talented designer Sally Waddington, honesty, integrity and family values are incorporated in all the distinctive wedding dresses that the company produces. Mon Cheri Bridals was formed in 1991, and is home to a range of amazing labels including Sophia Tolli and Martin Thornburg, Enchanting by Mon Cheri and Modest by Mon Cheri.

Their statement on the awards: “The Bridal Buyer Awards is an iconic awards night for the UK bridal industry, and we have been attending the awards at Harrogate for three generations and over 30 years. After all of the hard work that goes into producing and supplying collections, the awards are a night to let your hair down and enjoy yourself!"

True Bride

True Bride was created in Brighton in 2005 by Nicki Flynn. From the very beginning, one of True Bride’s key ideologies has been that ‘big isn’t always better’. The signature True Bride look is encapsulated through the timeless but contemporary nature of the dresses, with a style that is always memorable and that brides feel their best in.

True Bride stated: “As the biggest event in the UK bridal industry, it’s a wonderful show of support and recognition for the hard work, passion and dedication that is present throughout the bridal world. The event is a time to come together as suppliers and retailers to celebrate everyone’s achievements.”

UK Bridal Imports

Based in the beautiful Cumbrian hills in the South Lakes, UK Bridal Imports is a proud family run business. The team set up to create a business that challenges the norms of how people think about bridal and occasionwear wholesale - the company wants it to be simple and accessible to everyone, both stores and designers.

They said this on the awards: “The Awards are so highly regarded in the industry, so supporting such a great set of awards, along with the great opportunity to meet with everyone away from the show and enjoy a drink, is wonderful - it’s also a great excuse to dress up! It is such a great way to meet and celebrate the year’s successes with everyone while being more relaxed, and also support all those involved from retailers, designers and suppliers.”
