Congratulations on winning Bridalwear Supplier of the Year! What does this accolade mean to you and the team?

Maggie Sottero Designs: Winning the Bridalwear Supplier of the Year – International award is a tremendous honour for us. This accolade signifies recognition of our commitment to excellence in the bridal industry on a global scale. It validates our entire team’s hard work, creativity, and dedication in consistently delivering high-quality gowns and service to our brides and stockists worldwide.

Ellis Bridals: We are incredibly proud of this achievement! As a small team we put so much love and passion into everything we do, so it is wonderful to know that this is recognised within the industry.

Why do you think your pieces are such a big hit with brides?

Ellis Bridals: We spend a huge amount of time listening to our store’s feedback and this is what guides our design process each season. Responding to this feedback means we are always evolving the brand and offering a meaningful product that resonates with brides.

Maggie Sottero Designs: With a dedication to making every bride feel extraordinary on their big day, regardless of style, budget, timeline, or wedding vision, Maggie Sottero resonates profoundly with brides worldwide. Each Maggie dress can be ordered petite to plus-size, handmade per a bride’s options for customization and accessories. Many styles also feature variations in coverage, sleeve lengths, neckline styles, illusion details, shapewear lining, and more. Our design team’s talents shine through as we meticulously craft each gown to accentuate the bride’s beauty. Through immersive development events and collaborative sessions, we gather insights and feedback directly from brides, ensuring our designs capture their dreams and desires.

How do you think winning this award will affect your business over the following 12 months?

Maggie Sottero Designs: Winning the Bridalwear Supplier of the Year – International award will likely have a significant positive impact! Firstly, it will enhance our brand reputation and credibility within the bridal industry, attracting more attention from brides-to-be and stockists. Additionally, winning such a prestigious award can open doors to new partnerships and collaborations, further expanding our reach and market presence. Lastly, the recognition boosts employee morale and motivation, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within our team.

Ellis Bridals: We hope that our current retailers will feel proud to be working with us as a brand as well as leading new retailers to discover what we have to offer. 

Do you have any tips for retailers that stock your dresses?

Ellis Bridals: Social media is your most valuable tool. We have an extensive amount of ready-made content for you to post directly on your socials so make sure to check regularly for the new content uploaded each month and put your best foot forward on your platforms. Also, utilise the tools we offer - monthly newsletters, styling tips from our Stockist Success Manager on Instagram and monthly incentives - to get the very best out of the Ellis collection.

Maggie Sottero Designs: We encourage all our stockists to participate in Maggie’s "Primed For Success Academy." Primed for Success support is FREE to all Maggie Sottero Authorized Retailers. Shops are encouraged to take advantage of all of Maggie’s training and resources. Some highlighted Primed for Success training include diversity in bridal, product reviews, sustainability and the impact in bridal, 1:1 strategy sessions, personalization training, stylist success training, elements of five-star services, Pinterest training, crisis strategy sessions, and social media tips and tricks. Stockists can also request a member of our customer success team to visit their store for a personalized in-person session.
