Visitors from the world’s leading bridal boutiques descended on Battersea Evolution for the sixth edition of White Gallery earlier this week, with retailers coming from as far afield as the U.S and Japan.

UK buyers were delighted with the collections on show, and in between the catwalk shows a lot of buying was done with retailers picking up new labels and checking out the new ranges from their current stockists.

Speaking of her experience of this year’s show, Emma Draper of Love Bridal Boutique in Altrincham enthused: “It has felt like there has been a real feeling of anticipation and excitement in the build up to White Gallery this year, and the event has delivered. It’s a thoroughly enjoyable show. The catwalk shows were really special; it was wonderful to see the dresses come to life on the runway.”

Claire Bromilow from Claire Louise Brides in Bolton said she has been in business for 11 years now and has been to all five editions of White Gallery.

Claire added: “The designers we stock are here and it’s great to see all of their collections under one roof. We enjoy coming to White Gallery as it attracts a higher end market, and there is always a wonderful atmosphere, which creates the best buying experience. There is a really good mix of home grown and international talents and this year has been as inspiring as ever.”
