With Bridal Week Harrogate just around the corner, we chat with CIZZY Bridal Australia to find out more about their greatest achievement and upcoming plans to expand their international reach.
Tell us the company’s history, how you started and how the brand has developed.
CIZZY Bridal Australia started as a family business with a father and son team at the helm. Established in 2009, CIZZY Bridal Australia is still based in its hometown of Perth, Western Australia. Our enthusiasm for fashion resulted in the creation of ready to wear bridal collections, as well as offering unique custom made to measure designs, ensuring an inclusive and empowering experience for our clients at an affordable price. CIZZY Bridal has expanded throughout recent years, with the creation of 6 new labels, each with a different bride in mind. Those labels are: Zavana Bridal, Zavana Couture, Elysian Bridal, White April Bridal, Wedding Societe and Cizzy Bridal.
What is CIZZY Bridal’s proudest achievement?
The Australia Small Business Champion Awards is a prestigious and comprehensive program that supports and recognised small businesses across Australia. In 2022 we had the amazing honour to be announced as the winner for the Wedding Services category. Receiving this award has pushed and encouraged us to continue to build our presence not only in Australia but also Internationally.
What inspired your latest collection, and how do you stay current with bridal fashion trends?
Recently we have been inspired by classic designs. We continue to push the boundaries and strive to elevate the traditional silhouettes, for our upcoming collections we have revamped our best-selling styles. We continue to keep up with current bridal trends by conducting market research and seeing what our real brides are interested in. Communication within our team and with our stockists is vital, by staying in touch we are able to identify and meet our customers’ needs.
Can you describe the new collection in three words?
Opulent, Modern and Bold!
What trends have emerged from the latest collection?
We pride ourselves on creating beautifully made bridal gowns that flatter the feminine form while embodying timeless designs. We strive to offer our brides a variety of options that allow them to express their own personal style. We have introduced a lot of detachable pieces, like sleeves and overskirts. To allow our Brides to elevate their bridal look and tailor their own gown.
Why is Bridal Week so important to you?
Bridal Week is such a magical time. It is our chance to meet with our beautiful clients and connect with like-minded businesses that share our passion for all things bridal! We look forward to networking within the bridal community. What does the future hold for you? Do you have any exciting upcoming plans you can share with us?
We are expanding even further into Asia. We are so excited to announce that we will be soon opening a Bridal Store in Singapore. This will be a Bridal based hub for all designs Cizzy Bridal Australia! We are also launching a new label that will be available online and wholesale. We are so excited for these new upcoming plans as we continue to expand our reach internationally.
