Design sensation Savannah Miller brought home the coveted ’British Design Talent of the Year’ at last month’s Bridal Buyer awards. We chat to her to discover more.
How does it feel to be crowned British Design Talent of the Year 2024?
It feels absolutely incredible - I was surprised to win considering the other incredible designers in my category!
What does this recognition mean to you and your team?
It really means the world to me, because it is voted for by members of our industry who understand the challenges we face daily. We love designing for our beautiful brides and are truly honoured to have been celebrated in this way.
What would be your biggest pearl of wisdom to offer to aspiring designers?
My biggest pearl of wisdom to offer to other aspiring designers is to really stick to what you do best and what differentiates you from the competition. If you are true to your own aesthetic, remain competitive in price and keep working hard. The sky is the limit!
And finally, what do the next two years have in store for the brand? Can you share with us any exciting upcoming projects?
We are collaborating with some AMAZING bespoke brides this year, who I am loving working with, as well as contuing to expand out business to include many more international stores.
