The biggest, most rigorous and most respected awards in the UK wedding industry. Hear from the winners as they reflect on what it means to win the Bridal Retailer of the Year award.
Founder and director Rebecca Baddeley shared with us what it meant to the TDR team to win the award as she reflected on the emotional moment. "Winning Best Bridal Retailer at The Wedding Industry Awards means so much to us because our brides are at the heart of everything we do. TDR Bridal Birmingham has always been about creating a feeling - a place of love, understanding and celebration, where brides feel safe to be themselves and truly enjoy their wedding dress journey. To be recognised by our brides through their votes and feedback is the greatest honour we could receive and a true reflection of the trust they place in us.
The moment the winner was announced was incredibly emotional for our team, who were all waiting at the end of our team WhatsApp group for the result! Having our entire team attend the awards evening when we won our regional award made the journey even more special, and this national win truly belongs to every single one of them. This award celebrates the passion, care and dedication of our incredible team, who work tirelessly to create that special buzz, those unforgettable moments and a little bit of TDR Magic for every single bride, every single day.
Creative director and owner Clare Salt shared her gratitude for the recognition she received by winning the award. "Winning the National TWIA award for Best Bridal Retailer established under four years means so much more to me than a title or a trophy. It’s recognition of the long days, the risks taken, and the heart poured into creating something truly special from the ground up. This award feels like a powerful affirmation that the passion, care, and dedication behind every bride’s experience has been seen and valued, and it motivates me even more to keep growing, learning, and serving future brides with the same love and commitment that got Pearl and Eve here."
