2022 Retailer Review: Highlights

To round out this year, we interviewed bridal boutiques to find out their highlights, teachings and goals from 2022. In this article, we celebrate the highlights for these select few retailers.

What has been your biggest highlight?

Wynter Isabelle Bridal

Winning Bridal Retailer of the Year Wales at the only awards ceremony that matters, the Bridal Buyer awards. It was a dream come true and a massively proud moment for us. 

Natalie Ann Brides

We should all give ourselves a massive pat on the back. How did we do that? What was that even all about!  A shout out to being part of the RBA group as this team helped so much. Plus, making a few new “bridal shop” friends, being able to off-load the crazy stories of postponed brides with other store members was memorable and kept me sane. Thank you, as 2022 will go down in history for us all as one to remember. Besides it being a super crazy year of doubled up brides I would say helping to make four individual Tik Tok’s go viral with over 1 million views each, is up there with an epic highlight.

The Aisle

It has to be winning Retailer of the Year for England at The Bridal Buyer Awards! We were absolutely shocked to hear our name called out! It just shows our hard work, team work and motivation does pay off. We couldn’t do this without our amazing brands and Aisle Brides, and we are forever grateful for them!

Silk & Maple

Winning our first award as New Retailer of the Year at the Bridal Buyer Awards was definitely the ultimate highlight of 2022!

Elizabeth Kate Bridal

Our biggest highlight for 2022 has to be seeing all of our remaining covid postponement brides finally getting to wear their gorgeous dress on their wedding day.

Emily Bridalwear

There has been lots to choose from, with one being winning the best website award. But for me the highlight has been hitting our best sales on record for the year, with all the struggles of adjusting to the new Gen Z bride, we reached it middle of November. If you had told me this back in August, I would have laughed at you, but we’ve worked hard to adjust and it has most definitely paid off!
