Bridal Week’s newest afterhours concept event, The Runway, made a striking debut at Kachette Shoreditch on Sunday, bringing a fresh, fashion-forward energy to the city’s bridal calendar.

Set within the industrial-chic surroundings of the former railway arch venue, Kachette proved the perfect backdrop. With its raw brickwork, vaulted ceilings and atmospheric lighting, the East London space lent itself seamlessly to an immersive runway experience that felt both contemporary and elevated, as a continuation of the brand’s new identity. The excitement was palpable from the outset - a long queue forming well before doors opened, setting the tone for what felt more like an exclusive fashion drop than a traditional bridal showcase.

Inside, guests were greeted with bubbles and a live DJ, before passing through a dramatic archway into the catwalk space - where an immersive runway show unfolded in a dynamic, close-up format, allowing guests to fully engage with the movement, detail and craftsmanship of each look. The evening continued with music, canapés and cocktails, creating a vibrant, social close to the night.

The Sponsors

With the backing of key sponsors and a well-balanced line-up of participating brands, The Runway successfully bridged creativity and commerce - offering retailers a clear view of emerging trends, while giving designers a dynamic platform to showcase their collections in a new light. Partners included Allure Bridal, Calla Blanche, Casablanca Bridal, Cigdem Metin Bridal, Ellis Bridals, Essense of Australia, Freda Bennet, Hayley Paige, Maggie Sottero Bridal and Rachel Allan.

Sponsors included Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Bridal Buyer Magazine, Casablanca Bridal, Izabella Bordignon London, Patricia Eve and The Perfect Bridal Company, alongside a network of creative collaborators and models from Skin London. Together, these partners played a pivotal role in shaping the overall aesthetic and energy of the evening - from polished beauty looks and cohesive styling to the seamless execution of the immersive show itself. The result was a runway that felt not only directional in its fashion offering, but fully realised in its creative vision, reinforcing the importance of collaboration across all facets of the bridal industry.

Final Word

With The Runway, Bridal Week has introduced a compelling new format - one that blends fashion, entertainment and experience. It’s a concept that not only reflects the evolving identity of the bridal industry but also signals an exciting direction for future events, and we can’t wait to see what more lies on the horizon.
