Bridal Week London, reimagined

A standout March moment was the return of Bridal Week London, bringing a fresh new perspective to the show, which had a refined and polished feel. Held at The Truman Brewery, Shoreditch, the new edition reflected a directional shift toward a more creative and refined atmosphere. Bringing together leading designers, emerging talent, influential voices and valued retailers, Bridal Week London was a breath of fresh air for the industry and has firmly cemented its place in the bridal calendar.

A sweet surprise from Vera Wang

Celebrating National Proposal Day on March 20th, the iconic fashion house, Vera Wang, partnered with Dunkin’ to create the ultimate ’I dough’ proposal moment, complete with a playful Dunkin’ doughnut box replacing a ring box. The collaboration blended romance with playful marketing, as the campaign bridged the two worlds of everyday and affordable items, with aspirational, luxury fashion. This juxtaposition made luxury feel more approachable and achievable, offering one lucky bride an exclusive appointment at one of Vera Wang’s flagship showrooms, all whilst creating a memorable campaign that cut through advertising noise due to its unexpected pairing.

Zendaya’s aisle-worthy look

The actress turned heads at her latest premiere, stepping out in a striking white Vivienne Westwood gown that she has previously styled at just 18 years old. The re-worn dress was an attempt to uphold the ’something old’ bridal styling tradition, to match the theme of her latest film project. Effortlessly elegant, the gown proved once again that bridal looks are not reserved for only the aisle.
