This September, Bridal Week Harrogate united the finest talent in the industry for a spectacular celebration of fashion, creativity and unparalleled craftsmanship.
Across three days, the runway revealed the creativity shaping the next era of bridalwear. We saw 15 different brands grace the Bridal Week Harrogate runway, showcasing everything from timeless classics to bold, modern silhouettes with intricate detailing, striking shapes and showstopping finishes. The shows were enjoyed alongside popcorn and champagne and concluded with a heartfelt speech celebrating Wendy Adams, who has retired after more than 40 years in the bridal industry.
The Business Advice Clinics were a standout addition, giving retailers direct access to expert mentorship. Diana McMann shared insights on customer experience, Leann Marshall-Jones offered couture and alterations expertise, Abi Neill discussed sales and profitability and Megan Garmers delivered strategies for social media and business growth. Intimate and interactive, the sessions gave boutiques practical guidance to take home, reinforcing Bridal Week Harrogate’s commitment to supporting both fashion and business.
The Lounge Sessions in partnership with Bridal Buyer gave retailers fresh inspiration through expert-led talks hosted by Anna-Marie DeSouza. Ella O’Keefe shared practical social media strategies, Stacy Hughes of Maggie Sottero Designs and Andrew & Rob Pearce of Creatiques Bridal Boutique joined Anna-Marie to spotlight inclusivity in bridal and Peta Hunt revealed the defining trends of 2026. Relaxed yet insightful, the sessions empowered boutiques to learn, connect and grow.
The Bridal Buyer Awards 2025 marked a milestone moment, presenting more accolades than ever before and shining a spotlight on the talent driving the industry forward. The ceremony recognised retailers, suppliers and individuals whose work reflects the resilience, creativity and innovation at the heart of bridal fashion today. Highlights included TDR Bridal Birmingham, You Are Precious, Pearls and Lace Bridal Boutique, Bijoux Bridal and Laura May Bridal taking home Retailer of the Year titles, while Ellis Bridals, Milla Nova, Tiffanys Prom and Rebecca Anne Designs were celebrated as top suppliers. Unbridled Studio was named Rising Star and the coveted Wedding Dress of the Year went to Monica Loretti – 8321, chosen by real brides. A special moment came with the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Wendy Adams. With sustainability championed by Rolling In Roses and inclusivity recognised through Maggie Sottero Designs, the awards not only celebrated design excellence but also honoured the values shaping the future of bridal.
The combination of runway innovation, business mentorship, engaging lounge sessions and award recognition reflects an industry that continues to evolve with its brides. Inclusivity in sizing, seamless in-store and digital experiences and fresh, fearless creativity were central themes throughout the event. Bridal Week Harrogate September 2025 showed once again that this is more than an event. It is a stage where creativity meets business and where the future of bridal fashion comes to life. With designs that inspire, businesses that innovate and talent that pushes boundaries, the bridal industry looks set for a season defined by beauty, resilience and reinvention.
