Tell us how your brand has evolved over the years.

Elif Bay, Sagrande: In 2006, our brand laid its foundations as a family company stepping into the fashion world, executing the art of tailoring with love. In 2018, it was reshaped with the young and dynamic spirit of someone who graduated with a master’s degree in women’s clothing from Marangoni Milano. This turning point marked a new beginning for Sagrande, a brand that works with luxury fabrics using only handcraftsmanship and has over 25 years of tailoring experience.
Over time, Sagrande’s reputation crossed borders, and by 2024, it aims to become a globally recognized brand by participating in the prestigious White Gallery. This fair will provide an opportunity for Sagrande to showcase its creativity, quality, and commitment to handcraftsmanship to the entire world.
Sagrande carries the pride and responsibility of being the first step in creating lifelong memories in each of its wedding dresses. From Milan to London, and from there to all corners of the world, this journey is not just the victory march of a brand but also of a family, a passion, and the triumph of handcraftsmanship.

How did you fall in love with the bridal industry?

Ferhan Türker, Ferhan Türker Haute Couture: As soon as I received my fashion design education, I found myself in the field where I could reflect my dream of becoming a fashion designer, which I have dreamed of since my childhood.
brides and their wedding stories. It has always excited me. Wedding dresses always seem like magic. Each design tells a story to me.

Can you tell us more about your creative space?

Burak Çiçek, BURAK ÇİÇEK COUTURE: When I had my first studio in Alsancak, I had only one friend to help me to produce my collection of wedding dresses. Today, I have six flats in my apartment, three showrooms and three production workshops! The biggest secret to my success is being creative and making different models for the wedding dress market. We only use the very best quality materials.

What inspired your current collection?

Elif Bay, Sagrande: Our 2025 collection is called ’Harmony in Contrast’.
Exploring the rich layers life presents us and delving into the depths of the human spirit, Sagrande brings together the contrasts of life with elegance in its 2024 Bridal Collection. Each wedding dress comes to life with the delicate touches of handcraftsmanship and the nobility of luxurious fabrics. Adorned with embroidery details, these modern and sophisticated designs bear the signature of Sagrande.
The collection celebrates the different faces of life and the unique stories of each individual. The wedding dresses are designed not just as garments but as reflections of each bride’s personal journey and character. Sagrande aims to reveal the most beautiful and authentic versions of brides on their special days.
This collection, which will be showcased at the 2024 White Gallery in London, is set to capture the attention of fashion lovers and industry professionals worldwide. Sagrande is turning a new page in bridal fashion, perfectly exhibiting the harmony of contrasts.

Can you share some of the design elements that have emerged from the collection?

Ferhan Türker, Ferhan Türker Haute Couture: The prominent pieces in the collection include Hellenistic forms, flowing silk tulle skirts, slits symbolizing comfort, details that leave the back completely exposed, silhouettes reminiscent of mythological goddesses and mermaids, 3D cotton lace reflecting nature, and wedding dresses decorated with crystal embroidery reflecting water.

If you had to choose one piece that really highlights the vision of the collection, which would it be?

Elif Bay, Sagrande: White Gallery is an important event for Sagrande, because this event is considered Europe’s most exclusive bridal buying event, showcasing the world’s most talented bridal fashion designers and their visionary collections. At White Gallery, Sagrande aims to increase its international recognition and prestige by participating in a platform specially designed for the best international bridal designers, aspiring to be the most prestigious and authoritative event in the bridal purchase calendar. This fair offers Sagrande the chance to introduce its creative designs and quality to a wide audience and strengthen its position as a global brand.
Sagrande is particularly looking forward to its new bridal collections at White Gallery. These collections will reflect the brand’s elegance, style, and innovative approach in the fashion world, attracting the attention of potential buyers and industry professionals.
