As the latest collection photography highlights, the 2025 Nieve Collection mixes a range of timeless silhouettes with considered and well-crafted details, as well as some contemporary features for modern brides. This season there are slim-fitting styles, some pretty A-line looks and ballgowns, too. There are some clever detachables and separates to look out for, from the stunning Winnie overskirt to the Phillipa jacket to name a few.
“The latest collection is inspired by ’Old Money’ – opulent yet understated,” says Christine. “We have taken inspiration from high society weddings of the past, and combined them with modern touches to create a collection that’s on-trend yet classic and timeless.”
Christine tells us that some of the big trends for Nieve through 2025 and 2026 are minimal styles, clean lines and full princess skirts. “We have continued adding 3D floral detailing into the collection, but this season have updated it by combining flowers with plain satin and chiffon skirts, rather than tulle and laces,” explains Christine. “The 3D flowers give beautiful texture to these fabrics, without the fuss of lace.”
Looking at fabric in more detail, Nieve is known for its use of classic satins, chiffons and Mikados, but this season the label has introduced a new stretch crepe. “It has a gorgeous soft feel, a beautiful stretch and matte finish,” says Christine. “The star of the show is our organza ruffle fabric, which we have crafted into a fabulous, opulent skirt with modern off-the-shoulder bodice in the Genevieve dress.”
“All of our dresses are available in sizes 4-32, with no surcharge for plus sizes. Our size chart has been developed to be true-to-size for the British market. We always design a comprehensive collection, which includes styles for every body type and preference. We offer customisations such as raising or lowering necklines, adding lining panels, changing to a corset back, or ordering a skirt without a slit, so that every bride can feel confident in her gown.”
Bridal Buyer picked out its favourite look and asked Nieve to select their stand out style, too…
“The Phillipa dress is a modern, classic gown crafted from our stretch crepe, that offers incredible shaping combined with all-day comfort. The jacket adds a whole heap of fun to the look. The black satin on the inside of the jacket has been added to showcase the beautiful silhouette of the Phillipa dress against the dark background. The jacket ruffles and sleeves are inspired by high-end catwalk looks, giving an air of opulence and timeless sophistication.”
“Edwina is a true classic with a modern finish, perfect for so many different weddings, body shapes and budgets. It oozes sophistication with its wide off-the-shoulder neckline, which is balanced by the A-line skirt. Our Mikado fabric works like magic when worn, giving a beautiful glow to the skin and lighting up the complexion. Pair with a cathedral length lace train veil for the ultimate look.”
