We caught up with Jeanette Stevens, Managing Director of Enzoani, to find out how the team are feeling after winning Best Bridal Manufacturer of the Year at the Bridal Buyer Awards 2018 for the fourth time in five years...
From our initial launch way back in London Bridal week, the 2019 season collection of dresses were an instant hit. We had a sneak peek on Instagram of the Blue by Enzoani dress ‘Lainey’, this went viral with over 70k hits in 24 hours!
The collections only gathered pace from there on, with our retailers asking for the gowns to be in their boutiques as soon as possible. The culmination of The Harrogate Bridal Show 2018 was the final event to bring to a close a fantastic buying year for Enzoani and all of the retailers that support us.
Pretty damned amazing! We are so lucky to have such an incredibly passionate and dedicated Enzoani team, in every single area of our business. Their focus and drive is always about our customers, and finding every possible way we can support them, deliver outstanding product, diversity and service.
Winning this award makes us realise that all our efforts and attention to detail, in this every changing industry has not only been recognised but is making a difference. The feedback from our customers has been so rewarding and spurs us on even more. Fourth time winning Manufacturer of the Year in five years is pretty unbelievable! We are totally thrilled.
Pretty much that there was no way we could take the award home for a third year in a row…ready to clap and applaud for one of the other finalists as we have high respect for every one of them and they were all deserving of the award. So being totally honest – a little bit speechless when Enzoani was called! Seriously…did we hear that right? Then goose bumps, tummy-flipping, and quite emotional and proud to work with such a fabulous team, our Enzoani family.
The early launch of our once a year collections in London Bridal Week has given our retailers early access to our fashion forward yet highly commercial designs, meaning more and more chance of early repeats from brides looking for the latest styles.
2019 for Enzoani is looking VERY promising, our retailers have the latest trends to offer brides along with added training and new customisation options for all collections; we expect 2019 to be a bumper year.
I’m going to be honest here and add that the power of good social media really showed its true power at Harrogate. Along with retailers that had been inspired to look at new gowns from social influences, new partners decided to visit the stand to view the dresses that have influenced the media frenzy.
The ever popular Lainey really caught retailers’ eyes and quickly became the talk of the runway, daring yet classy. Perhaps the most influential gown was Lesley from Blue by Enzoani; timeless elegance and an ethereally romantic look which has been wowing brides in store and already in a league of her own.
As always, we are constantly looking for ways to help our retailers and now the last large show of the UK buying season under our belt we will be looking at next season’s influences and desires.
Our Creative Director Kang Chun Lin (KC) will be visiting stores within the UK over the next few days to ask directly what the vision and wishes of our retailers are for the future collections. KC always listens and tries to give not only what the industry needs, but also likes to break the mould a little too, so watch this space!
