Just five months into 2026 and we’ve already been witnessing a surge in celebrity weddings. These bridal looks reflect the diversity in bridal preferences when it comes to aesthetics and styling. From high impact fashion to soft, subtle romance, these celebrity bridal moments reflect a continued demand for versatility within collections.

Venezuela Fury embraces maximalist glamour

The lavish celebration has attracted widespread attention across social media and press and we can see why! The bride selected an Enzoani custom-designed strapless fishtail gown from Ava Rose Hamilton Bridal Couture, featuring intricate Italian lace detailing, dramatic winged sleeves and an extraordinary 50-foot train. The gown perfectly captured the (not so subtle) return of high impact maximalist fashion, after a long stretch of contemporary minimalism. Whilst heavily detailed, the overall aesthetic remained polished and somewhat contemporary, reflecting the continued popularity of statement making bridalwear amongst younger brides. What made the styling particularly memorable was Venezuela’s decision to wear white Crocs and Gucci sunglasses for her walk down the aisle, nodding to the appreciation of comfort in bridal fashion today.

Candice King and the rise of effortless romance

After the actor’s struggle to find a suitable maternity wedding dress, Candice settled on a soft crepe gown by Grace Loves Lace for her intimate ceremony in Nashville. Whilst comfort was the main priority, the bride wanted minimal structure and embellishment for a more relaxed look, that was finished with a tulle veil with delicate floral embroidery. The aesthetic embodied the growing demand for gowns that feel romantic without appearing overly formal. Soft fabrics with fluidity and lighter construction continue to gain popularity amongst modern brides, particularly those planning intimate or destination ceremonies.

Alexandra Saint Mleux evokes quiet luxury

Alexandra’s wedding to Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc was nothing short of a fairy tale. For her wedding dress, she opted for couturier Paolo Sebastian, known for his opulent gowns. Alexandra wore a fishtail gown crafted from delicate Chantilly lace, which featured intricate scallop detailing along the neckline. The long, sheer sleeves sat off the shoulders and finished with a subtle lace trim at the wrist to give an added edge of romance. The bride also chose a symbolic detail to be added to the dress, having the couple’s initials and wedding date embroidered into the fabric.

These bridal looks highlight the dominant directions currently shaping the bridal market. Whilst quiet luxury and effortless romance continue to be appreciated amongst modern brides, the love of high impact, theatrical fashion is returning, reflecting the growing diversity in consumer preferences.
