Find out what exhibitors and visitors thought of The Harrogate Bridal Show 2018
In this edition of our podcast, we look back at the biggest bridal buying event in the UK – The Harrogate Bridal Show. A daily diary update of interviews with exhibitors and visitors gives listeners an overview of the 2018 show, the Bridal Buyer Awards, and what you can expect should you attend next year.
On day one we chat to Annette from Phoenix Gowns who refers to the exhibition as “the bridal Mecca”, and Katie from Rewritten, a new label in the industry who went to The Harrogate Bridal Show in anticipation of exhibiting at the 2019 event.
Day two sees us in conversation with Jess from Allison Jayne who calls the event “the heart of bridal” and Amy from Adella Bridal who is opening the doors to her boutique in just over a week’s time. Amy went along to Harrogate to make her very final orders - good luck to you Amy!
After an exhausting night celebrating at the Bridal Buyer Awards, we spent the final day at the show checking in with a couple of award winners – Leyla from Sophie Grace Bridal and Melanie from Miranda Templeton. Sophie Grace Bridal won Best Customer Service, and Leyla tells us about her experience at the awards. Meanwhile, Melanie tells us how winning Best Headdress of the Year will affect her business over the following 12 months.
