Each year, the experts at the Pantone Colour Institute select a shade that will define the next 12 months. In celebration of PANTONE’s 25th anniversary, Pantone has awarded Peach Fuzz as the Pantone Color of the Year. Otherwise known as PANTONE 13-1023, Peach Fuzz "captures our desire to nurture ourselves and others,” Pantone Colour Institute Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman said in a statement. “It’s a velvety gentle peach tone whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body, and soul."

PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz holds truly gorgeous tones of blush and apricot and has been refashioned with a contemporary flair, culminating in a "warm and cozy shade highlighting our desire for togetherness with others or for enjoying a moment of stillness and sanctuary." 

Here are some ways you can embrace it in your business…

Warm up your space

This soft, warm colour is a definite departure from the bold shades we have seen in past years: it is calm and organic. There’s a slightly retro feel to the tone (as peach was so popular in previous decades), but here, we’re seeing the shade make a fresh comeback. 

Peach Fuzz is a great colour for boutiques with less sunlight, bringing a natural glow to the room. Incorporating Peach Fuzz 13-1023 in boutique spaces can foster a welcoming atmosphere, and can be used in wall paints, décor, or as accent pieces to promote a sense of warmth and togetherness.
