The much-loved True Bride is celebrating two decades in the industry with the launch of its latest 2026 collections. Launched in Brighton in 2005 by designer Nicki Flynn, the label has grown into a globally recognised name, adored by brides and retailers for its blend of contemporary design and vintage inspiration. Today, True Bride encompasses a family of bridal and bridesmaid lines, each offering a unique focus to cater to every bride and her party.

Brand Overview

For the brides…

· Nicki Flynn by True Bride: The founder’s namesake collection, renowned for its vintage-inspired flair and glamorous couture touches. This line offers luxurious wedding gowns with unique details that echo old Hollywood elegance, delivered with a modern twist.

· True Bride: The label’s core bridal range delivering classic romance with a modern edge. Expect contemporary wedding dresses with timeless appeal – clean lines, elegant laces, and subtle retro details – for a look that is both fresh and enduring.

· True Curves: Designed specifically for curvy brides, True Curves offers plus-size wedding dresses with carefully considered structure and fit. These gowns flatter and support the figure while showcasing the same stylish detailing and high-quality fabrics as True Bride’s other lines, ensuring no compromise on style for the plus-size bride.

· Brighton Belle: A retro-inspired range celebrating 1950s tea-length bridal fashion. Brighton Belle is known for fun, flirty short silhouettes and 50s-style features, from full tulle skirts to nipped waists, bringing playful vintage glamour to modern weddings.

For the bridesmaids…

· True Bridesmaids: The flagship bridesmaid collection featuring a broad array of fashion-forward designs. True Bridesmaids dresses combine flattering cuts with on-trend details and an extensive colour palette, making it easy to outfit every attendant in style while complementing the bride’s look.

· Luna by True Bride: A bridesmaid line with a red-carpet twist, Luna offers statement gowns for the bridal party. This collection presents sleek silhouettes enhanced by shimmering accents, beaded embellishments, and bold design elements – perfect for bridesmaids seeking a touch of evening glamour.

· Essentials: A curated range of affordable bridesmaid dresses focusing on modern simplicity and versatility. The Essentials line delivers chic, clean-lined designs at accessible price points, ensuring a cohesive and elegant look for the bridal party without breaking the budget.

2026 Collection Highlights

“True Bride’s 2026 bridal collection is inspired by the fluidity and motion of romance, bringing a sense of movement and poetic design to its latest gowns,” says the fashion house’s Georgia Flynn. “Brides will find an artful balance of structural and soft silhouettes this season – think fitted bodices flowing into airy skirts – creating an interplay of form and freedom.” New floral jacquard fabrics add subtle texture and pattern, while touches of timeless beading and gracefully draped laces lend the dresses a nostalgic charm. Many of the designs nod to old Hollywood glamour, evident in their elegant draping and classic embellishments, yet each gown remains thoroughly modern in comfort and construction.

The bridesmaid attire for 2026 is equally romantic, echoing the bridal themes with their own twist. The new True Bridesmaids range features refined, elegant cuts elevated with playful accents – from delicate beaded motifs and statement bows to hints of silver sparkle woven into the design. A standout addition is a metallic-inspired satin fabric making its debut, infusing a subtle sheen into select bridesmaid styles. This fresh material, alongside the collection’s shimmer of sequins and silver sparkles, brings a contemporary edge to traditional bridesmaid dresses, ensuring the bridal party shines alongside the bride.

Event Invitation

True Bride is inviting industry partners and stockists to experience these new collections first-hand. “True Bride will be debuting their brand new collections this 11th - 12th May at their new Brighton studio,” announces Georgia, extending an open invitation to preview the 2026 lineup. The two-day showcase doubles as a 20th anniversary celebration for the company, and attending retailers can expect hospitality perks including travel credits and special show offers as part of the festivities.

For those unable to attend the Brighton event, True Bride will also be offering private viewings of the new collections in the weeks following. “Appointments – either virtual or in-person – can be booked from 13th to 23rd May to explore the 2026 bridal and bridesmaid ranges in detail. Interested stockists can arrange a session by emailing georgia@truebride.co.uk,” explains Georgia.

With its rich heritage and fresh designs, True Bride’s 20th anniversary looks set to herald another exciting chapter for this much-loved bridal house – and Bridal Buyer readers are warmly invited to be part of the celebration.
