We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Billy Fitzsimons, who passed away peacefully on 16th October 2025 in the Mater Hospital, Ireland, surrounded by his loving family.

Billy was a beloved husband to Deirdre, a devoted father to Shane and Sinéad, and a proud grandfather to Finn, Ayda-Mai, Cian, Logan and Isabelle. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

His loss will be deeply felt by those in the bridal industry, who will fondly remember Billy for his dedication and warmth over a career spanning more than 35 years. He helped countless clients through his work with Forever Yours, Allure, Special Day and Tania Olsen, to name just a few.

Billy was always a big, happy presence in the bridal world. He was welcoming, supportive and full of laughter. He had time for everyone, always ready to share his advice, his humour and his stories. A familiar face at bridal trade shows, Billy seemed to know everyone’s name and brought light and positivity wherever he went.

Above all, Billy was deeply committed to his family, speaking of them often and with immense pride. His kindness, warmth, and good humour touched so many lives, and he leaves behind a lasting legacy of friendship and joy
