We look back at The Harrogate Bridal Show 2019...
The Harrogate Bridal Show has been running for over 30 years, bringing together retailers, manufacturers, designers and members of the press for three days of buying, networking and fashion. And this year was no different, thousands of attendees visited the old spa town in search of the latest trends from a roster of UK and international brands.
Fashion Shows
Visitors were treated to two stunning Fashion Shows in the famous Royal Hall.
The Bridal Preview showcased collections from Allure, Casablanca, Coya, Dando London, Eliza & Ethan, Ladybird, Q’Nique, Rachel Allan, Tiffanys & Victoria Kay with dramatic choreography and show-stopping gowns.
Dando London opened the show with eight beautiful gowns. Their scene featured a selection of capes with feathered and lace detailing.
Rich nudes were the stand out trend from Coya Collection. The gowns featured heavy beading and satin skirts.
Victoria Kay took their gold and black collection to new heights with acrobatics alongside their presentation of eight new gowns.
The Designer Preview featured hand-picked gowns from a selection of the industry’s leading names including Allure, BSS by Safiyya Babayeva, Chic Nostalgia, Ellis, Galizia Spose, Kitty Chen, Nicole, Randy Fenoli Bridal, Sposa & White One.
Chic Nostalgia brought their siganture boho style to the catwalk, with tiered gowns and modern lace.
Ellis Bridal’s latest collections oozed sophistication with a modern take on classic silhouettes.
And it was all about sparkle for Sposa, with a mixture 1920s style fringe and intricately layered beading.
