Italian bridal label, Monica Loretti, celebrated for its refined blend of modern elegance and timeless craftsmanship, has unveiled an exclusive new Capsule Collection. With a focus on innovation, this new selection of styles caters to the contemporary bride who seeks not only stunning design but also unparalleled comfort and eco-consciousness. By combining style, sustainability and versatility, this season Monica Loretti’s focus is on offering something truly different for both brides and retailers.

Modern Merino

“For the capsule range, we have crafted gowns and separates from luxurious Merino wool,” says the brand’s Katie Bevington. “This collection introduces a fresh take on wedding attire, blending natural fabrics, elegant details, and versatile silhouettes. We chose Merino wool because it’s a natural, breathable fabric known for its softness, lightweight feel and sustainability.”

Merino wool is a sustainable and luxurious fabric, making it a standout choice for eco-conscious fashion – and perfect for bridalwear. As a natural and renewable resource, Merino wool comes from sheep that regrow their fleece every year, reducing the environmental impact compared to synthetic fibres. It’s also biodegradable, meaning it decomposes naturally without leaving harmful waste behind.

Additionally, the production of Merino wool uses less water and energy than synthetic fabrics, contributing to a lower carbon footprint. Its breathable, moisture-wicking properties help regulate body temperature, making it ideal for year-round comfort, while its softness ensures it can be worn directly on the skin without irritation.

In addition to the choice of fabric, Monica Loretti tells us that the designs are complemented by delicate lace embellishments, adding a touch of glamour and timeless elegance throughout the collection.

Versatile styling

The Capsule Collection consists of eight interchangeable pieces. A major trend this season, and over the past few years, has been the idea of ensemble versatility, this approach is really alluring to brides that want to personalise their looks.  “With mix-and-match possibilities, brides can seamlessly transition from ceremony to reception, adjusting their outfit for different moments of their special day,” explains Katie.

Within the line, there are dresses that feature classic silhouettes reimagined with a contemporary twist, as well as skirts that provide both flowing and structured options for dynamic styling. For a chic, modern take, jumpsuits offer a sleek alternative to traditional gowns, while bodices combine exquisite lace with structured designs for a tailored and elegant look. Completing the collection, trousers bring effortless sophistication and a fashion-forward appeal, giving brides the freedom to mix, match, and create a personalised ensemble that perfectly suits their wedding day vision.
