It was inevitable that Zahavit Tshuba would work in bridal – her father was a diamond cutter and her family had a textile business. She started out designing fine jewellery before launching her own bridal label in Tel Aviv, Israel. Zahavit creates unique, one-of-a-kind pieces available in small quantities, resulting in a bespoke range of highly desirable gowns.
Idan Cohen’s career began in his family’s denim business. After becoming creative director, he realised his passions lay in bridal. He set up his own studio in his native Israel in 2012; within three years he was operating out of a 4,000sq ft. store in Tel Aviv.
Idan Cohen is known for his feminine silhouettes and his intricate embellishments; his gowns are favoured by celebrities and TV personalities for special events and red carpet appearances.

Textiles are in Gemy Maalouf’s genes – her father owned a fabric factory so it’s only natural that she would have a passion for fabric. The brand started with just five staff and a small atelier in Beruit, but it has now blossomed into a team of 120 people.
The brand was the first to launch ‘couture a porter’ in Lebanon, and the bridal branch launched in 2004, four years after the first Gemy Maalouf showing in Paris. Her designs are perfect for the unconventional bride who wants a high fashion look on her big day.

Established by designer Rinat Asher in 2010, Flora is based in Haifa, Israel. She creates wedding dresses that combine spectacular detail with luxurious elements, resulting in designs that manage to be classic yet contemporary, and high quality but still comfortable.
Each gown is created to celebrate the curves of the feminine form and to make the wearer feel confident and glamorous. The fabrics are sourced from Europe and Rinat pays close attention to every detail to ensure each design has its own story – making the wearer feel truly fabulous.

This Israeli designer has evolved from hand-sewing her designs in her bedroom in Tel Aviv, to becoming one of the hottest emerging brands. Liz Martinez channels her youthful passion and creative spirit into all her designs, and uses unexpected fabrics, unconventional cuts and current trends to create her signature gowns. Liz’s ability to mix her energy with a sense of glamour makes her a fresh presence on the bridal scene – she is one to watch.
Naama & Anat are a mother and daughter duo based in Israel. They established their studio in 1997 and set to work making intricate and creative wedding dresses for modern brides. Each design is hand-crafted to produce a flattering silhouette, using the most luxurious fabrics and embroidery. One of the brand’s most popular collections is the 1930s-inspired vintage range.
Israeli designer Yaniv Persy worked with a number of established fashion houses, including John Galliano and Roberto Cavalli, before he started his own independent label. His artistic approach to bridal and eveningwear makes him a popular choice for fashion editors and bloggers, as well as discerning brides. The talented designer has won the LCDA award for ‘Modern Femininity’ and the I C Excellence Foundation’s ‘Best Achievement’ award for fashion design.
