Designed to flatter and enhance, True Bride creates bridal gowns for every type of bride. Available in sizes UK 6-36, the brand puts an emphasis on reasonable pricing whilst never compromising on design or quality. The True Bride spirit is encapsulated through intricate Gatsby inspired beadwork, old Hollywood glamour, modern silhouettes, and unique detailing, all complete with a fashion-forward twist.

Georgia Flynn, Marketing Executive for the brand said, “With all that’s going on in the world, we spent a lot of time considering if we still wanted to release our new collections to retailers, but ultimately decided to go ahead. Our team has worked hard on creating this season’s dresses, and we were so excited to showcase them this season, so we have decided to reduce the number of dresses we are offering to create capsule collections for each range. We hope this will help ease some of the pressure retailers may be facing during this time and give you all something beautiful and uplifting to look at.”

This season’s True Bride collection has been designed to be as unique as the brides wearing it. Some styles are more directional, with the lowest backs the brand has ever designed, aisle-worthy double trains, graphic bohemian style laces and slinky silhouettes. Furthermore, soft, romantic, and dreamy styles have been crafted with drapey skirts, sequinned over laces that are layered with bold appliqués and delicate beadwork.

This season Nicki Flynn by True Bride focuses on textured styles, vintage glam detailing, statement cotton laces, and soft, elegant silhouettes. The brand has taken classically vintage styles and updated the shapes and detailing to bring them in line with today’s bride.

Furthermore, the Autumn/Winter collection sees an introduction of new fabrics and accents for True Curves, including stretch liquid satins, figure-flattering crepe styles, metallic laces, soft gold glitter tulles and delicate lace detailing.

“The design process for True Curves begins with bringing it back to the basics of the collection – to design dresses that enhance the body and to fill our brides with the confidence that comes with wearing a dress they have always dreamed of. As always, our dresses are fitted with our signature True Curves luxury construction that supports and cinches where needed and is naturally figure-flattering. We create the dresses that plus-size brides actually want,” adds Georgia Flynn.

As for the maids, this season sees an introduction of brand-new fabrics with a combination of luxurious velvets and silky liquid satins, ensuring the mix and match bridal party look is here to stay. Tone on tone looks are growing in popularity, and because of this, the brand has introduced five exclusive new blue and green shades that complement each other beautifully whilst looking just as charming as stand-alone colours.

Georgia Flynn adds, “Our new fabrics really led the way this season, allowing us to develop new designs with distinctive looks; some styles have a slinkier feel, and others are pure ’old Hollywood glamour.’ We also drew inspiration from couture styles with accents such as floaty sleeves, pearl beading."

“Splits are as popular as ever, and brides are loving the less obvious back and side splits, as well as the iconic front ones. We’ve developed more circle skirt styles following on from their popularity last season and have introduced our favourite new design trend – blouson Bishop sleeves, shown across all three of our collections in completely unique designs.”
