From basement beginnings to a global stage, Bridal Week has evolved far beyond a trade exhibition. It’s a decades-long love story one of creativity, connection and the global celebration of bridal fashion. Now, as the event prepares for its highly anticipated return to London in 2026, it’s entering an exciting new chapter. We chat with Event Director, Alex Butler, to find out more.

Why London, why now?

After months of listening, reflecting and reimagining, the team behind Bridal Week decided it was time for change. “It was clear something needed to shift,” says Alex. “We’ve spent time gathering feedback from across the industry, and those insights have been instrumental in shaping Bridal Week London 2026. The needs of our community are always evolving and so must we. Our passionate team is brimming with ideas to innovate, inspire and surprise.” Relocating to The Truman Brewery in the heart of Shoreditch marks a bold move. Brimming with fashion, creativity and cultural energy, and hosting major events like London Fashion Week and Graduate Fashion Week, it is surrounded by buzzing bars, restaurants and independent shops, meaning guests can enjoy a true London experience.

A fresh format

Weddings are no longer bound by convention  and neither should the events that serve the industry. Alex promises that from the moment guests walk into The Truman Brewery, they’ll feel the shift in energy and creativity. The venue’s flexible, warehouse-style layout lends itself perfectly. “There will be dedicated private rooms for brands who’ve previously hosted their own showrooms, alongside open exhibition spaces for traditional stands,” Alex explains. “Expect a dynamic mix of fashion shows, Champagne bars and immersive brand activations. It’s not just a trade event  it’s a creative playground.”

The return to London also responds to a shifting retail landscape. By bringing key brands and independents under one roof, Bridal Week London offers a streamlined, enjoyable buying experience  saving time while amplifying opportunity.

Talks, trends and TikTok moments

The team promises a full agenda packed with fashion, insights, and community-building moments.

“We’re developing an exciting programme filled with inspiration,” says Alex. “And yes there will definitely be a launch party! The details are still under wraps, but one thing’s for sure: it’s going to be a celebration to remember.”

Retailers can also look forward to the return of The Designer Edit, a section celebrating independent and emerging talent. The Designer Edit will showcase a curated mix of fresh, distinctive brands alongside the global powerhouses you know and love. For too long, the bridal industry has been divided  and Bridal Week’s aim is to bring it back together under one roof. From the moment you walk into The Truman Brewery, the change in direction will be clear. “Cameras at the ready, there’s going to be lots of content to capture!”

“Bridal is increasingly fashion-forward, so hosting an event in London just makes sense,” says Butler. “Shoreditch is a fashion destination in the heart of the city, and a hub for designers, stylists and influencers. By bringing Bridal Week here, we’re elevating the event to something it’s never been before. From the moment you step onto Brick Lane you can’t fail to be inspired and the inspiration won’t stop there.”
