Here’s how Cizzy Bridal Australia CEO and director, Kalvin Chow spends a typical working day
Kalvin Chow is the CEO and Director of Cizzy Bridal Australia, an exquisite bridal brand that is becoming one of the most recognised suppliers in Australia. Established in 2009 the brand stocks both ready-to-wear bridal collections as well as offering unique custom made-to-measure designs.
I’m more of a night owl than a morning person. I usually wake up around 8:00AM but then it takes me a while to get out of bed. The obnoxious iPhone alarm helps. The first thing I do in the morning is check my emails and phone – the life of a CEO.
By the time I get out of bed I have no time for breakfast so I take a load of raisin toast to work and I wash it down with coconut water – hydration is a must!
I arrive to work around 9.30AM and I when I arrive, I take care of any urgent matters that require my attention. My morning is usually filled with meetings with the team, phone calls with clients and discussions with my production team. I’m very involved and often need to juggle a million things at once.
Mornings can be hectic!

I enjoy a change of scenery and often wander down the street to the local cafes where I’ll eat my lunch while strategizing about global domination. I never switch off and the change of scenery helps me view things from a different perspective.
Every day is different. Some afternoons are just as hectic as the morning and others are a lot more relaxed – usually Fridays. I leave work when my wife calls to ask me to come home and on my drive home, I listen to Gary Vee podcasts.
When I get home I give my two dogs lots of love and attention. I have a Japanese Spitz and a Pomeranian. I’ll eat dinner with my beautiful wife who is an amazing cook. I try to keep up to date with current affairs and I’m constantly educating myself on everything financial & business related.
I will usually crawl into bed around 1 or 2am. I’m very lucky, almost as soon as my head hits the pillow I’m out. I find it easy to switch off and put the stresses of work & life aside. I’m a very heavy sleeper, nothing can wake me up while I dream about having CIZZY Bridal retailers all over the world!

My favourite part of the day is going to work and if I could change one part of my day it would be to add more hours in the day. There’s never enough time to get everything done.
