Sitting alongside the legacy names we know and love, these sister lines are here to make a stir. Here are some of the counterpart labels you need to know ahead of Harrogate.
Ahead of this year’s Bridal Week Harrogate, we take a closer look at some of the other branches of leading labels, and the key trends they have incorporated ahead of the Autumn season. All possessing a fresh take on traditional silhouettes, these are the lines that need to be on your radar.
Kelsey Rose began in the 1980s, but was reborn in 2020 with a fresh take on bridal style.
Kelsey Rose is all about that ’relaxed’ feel. We cover multiple looks, from boho luxe to minimal city chic, but the underlying thread that runs through the collection is a light-hearted and informal take on bridal fashion.
Anja embodies the more romantic, whimsical feel that we have expanded on for 2023. The ethereal skirt is crafted in layers of soft tulle and organza, and beaded floral lave adorns the bodice for ultra-femininity. The Anja gown perfectly represents the label - offering relaxed styling with a luxe feel, retailing under £1,000.

The MiaMia label launched in 2009.
MiaMia has a fashion-forward eclectic style. As the younger sister of Alan Hannah, MiaMia is individual and has her own personality, taking experience from her sibling to create something new, fresh and forward-thinking. All the dresses are designed by Marguerite to cover areas of design that are both different but complementary. Many of our retailers stock both collections, as they sit well together, but appeal to different audiences. Our MiaMia brides are buying into a British designer label within their budget - and our dresses fit the bill perfectly.
It’s all about extravagant, unusual sleeves, along with split ballgown skirts which are billowing but sexy at the same time. Escapism and glamour are often an antidote to tough times. Marguerite feels that creating a collection with extravagant detailing and a perfect cut is where we want to be. A favourite this season was our Dixie bodice with either the Millicent full skirt or the slimmer Ruby skirt, for two looks in one.

Mikaella launched in 2004.
Mikaella Bridal presents an enchanting collection of bridal gowns, with a fresh perspective on what modern brides are looking for. Playing on the classic and sophisticated silhouettes of its sister collection, Mikaella adds a whimsical and charming feel, drawing inspiration from delicacy and femininity with attention to modern trends.
Our latest collections gravitate towards soft details that create movement and fluidity. We infuse our signature style into all of our designs, but if we had to pick just one, it would be Style M2430. We think this dress is a showstopper and checks all the boxes of a dream dress!
