The Tannin Level
One of Harrogate’s longest-standing restaurants, the Tannin Level is renowned for its traditional Yorkshire food, made from local seasonal ingredients, and fantastic wines. It’s set on the ground level of a traditional Victorian Yorkshire mansion, giving it a unique atmosphere. Combining elegance and intimacy, the Tannin Level is perfect for a dinner out after the show.
The Fat Badger
Sharing a renovated Georgian property with the White Hart Hotel, The Fat Badger serves a range of high quality food and drink in a vibrant, sociable atmosphere. The AA Rosette kitchen produces modern British pub-grub alongisde cask ales, cocktails, and wine all whilst utilizing fresh, local, and seasonal produce. They pride themselves on being one of the most characterful town-centre pubs in Harrogate.
The Ivy
If you are looking for relaxed yet sophisticated alll-day dining in the heart of Harrogate, The Ivy may be for you. Alike its sister restaurants, The Ivy Harrogate serves an all-encompassing, contemporary and seasonal British menu for breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks, cocktails and dinner. Open seven days a week, this is a restaurant that can offer great quality all-day dining to local businesses, residents and visitors alike.
Banyan Bar & Kitchen
Located on John Street, Banyan Harrogate serves beautiful food and drink all day long. It’s one member of the growing Banyan family that now resides in several of the coolest cities across the UK. You can grab some great food whilst sipping on 2-4-1 cocktails, served all day, every day of the week.
Christies Bar
A well-established bar in Harrogate, Christie’s has been serving for over 38 years. They have ales, craft beers, lagers and over 40 gins, as well as the largest beer garden in Harrogate, so make sure you take a look at this local haunt.
Cold Bath Brewing Co.
Situated just across from the Harrogate Convention Centre, this bar is a brewery and bar in one. The Taproom is the place to be, where you can sample thieir own craft beers as well as a selection of some of their favourite guest beers. Beer not your thing? Not to worry as they offer great wine and gin selections too.
Betty’s Café Tea Rooms
Well known for their afternoon tea, Betty’s originally started in Harrogate before expanding and building their reputation. The original Betty’s is still standing, and you can pop in for a cup of tea and a scone for a quick break.
Rudding Park
Rudding Park is a hotel that provides one of the best afternoon teas in Yorkshire. Guests sit in the conservatory and look out onto the gorgeous gardens, whilst having a delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes, pastries and champagne if you haven’t been taking advantage of the champagne at the show.
Fodder
An award-winning farm shop and café, Fodder makes a gorgeous range of treats for afternoon tea, all locally sourced. Running 3-5, Monday-Saturday, so don’t miss out.
LMDC Espresso Bar
Located in the centre of Harrogate, the independent espresso bar serves award-winning coffee alongside a friendly atmosphere, where you can grab a snack, rest and recharge for the day ahead.
Bean and Bud
The friendly chatty baristas make the atmosphere really warm and their high-quality coffee made from carefully selected lightly roasted beans is fantastic. The first independent coffee shop to open in Harrogate, it has a reputation for quality.
