It’s no secret that The Harrogate Bridal Show is the largest bridal buying event in the UK. Having been established for over 30 years, this event is run from the stunning spa town of Harrogate. Find out more about Harrogate town here.

The show has an impeccable reputation and this year has only proved to enhance the positive views held among leading industry figures.

We caught up with exhibitors at the close of the show to discover more about their 2018 Harrogate experience. Christine Dando from Dando London explains: “the show has been amazing, we’re so excited to welcome lots of existing buyers and lots of brand new buyers too”.

“We had another fantastic Harrogate Bridal Show! The whole show exceeded my expectations tremendously,” explains Mark Stevens from Enzoani. “Thanks for putting on a fabulous buying event for the industry once again.” See our post show interview with Enzoani here.

Kirsty Voce from Rachel Allan gave her verdict: “we had an absolutely amazing show! Every part of the exhibition looked beautiful, the catwalk was incredible and the amount of customers that visited our stand (and ordered) was more than I could have hoped for in year one!”

With over 4800 attendees across the three days, including almost 3000 unique buyers, there was a great buzz in the halls. The Royal Hall hosted four fashion shows where a variety of contemporary and traditional wedding dresses from a range of brands with differing price points, allowing retailers to see their potential purchases in action.

The Bridal Buyer Awards saw a glamorous and fun-filled night alongside a new wave of talent to celebrate. See a full list of winners here. Constant entertainment with the band and comedian, a glitter station and photo booth as well as the excellent food and all-important award ceremony, resulted in a memorable night for all.
