Tell us about the history of the brand.

Since the debut global release into the global bridal industry in March 2019, Madi Lane has taken the UK and EU markets by storm with brides and retailers falling head over heels in love with the modern, feminine and utterly romantic flair that is everything Madi Lane. Born from a desire to provide modern, meaningful, fashion-forward designs to the broader bride collective and not just those in a small size range, Madi Lane Bridal is the brainchild of Elizabeth Young. After 20 years of bridal retail business experience, Liz turned to designing bridal gowns to bring designs to stores that couldn’t be found in the current marketplace. After resounding success in Australia, we took our designs to the world and the rest is history! With a second label, Evie Young Bridal and now a jewellery line, Milane Collective, our growth since our launch 3 years ago has been both an exciting and tremendous journey. And we’ve only just started! Watch this space as our new adventures unfold...

Can you talk about the brand’s relationship with the UK bridal market?

Our UK retailers and the other vendors that we have relationships with are like our family... we love and respect them and have had a wonderful time partnering with them to create beautiful relationships. Helping our UK retailers to succeed with our label brings a huge level of joy for us, and so we are passionately invested in doing all we can to be supportive of our retailer family. We know that together we create bridal magic for the brides of the UK and we absolutely love being a part of that!

What is next for the brand?

In the weddings of more brides, on the racks in more beautiful retailers, on the runways of more global Fashion Weeks, and in the middle of many more adventures! (And maybe another product line... shhhhh!)

Can you tell us five interesting facts about the brand?

1. Our designer, Liz, has 20 years of retail bridal experience at high levels, bringing strong experience in what brides love, and an empathy and understanding of bridal retail at every level.
2. Our creative home of Madi Lane is on the beautiful Gold Coast in Australia
3. Madi Lane is named after Liz Young’s daughter, Madison, her greatest inspiration
4. We have distribution offices in the UK, EU, USA and Australia, and can now be found in over 30 countries and 800 retailers.
5. Design feedback is incredibly important to us and Liz is always eager to chat all things Madi Lane, especially the design needs for retailers. Why is Bridal Week so important to you?

Bridal Week is something we look forward to every year! Catching up with our fabulous retailers, meeting new and excited retailers who are eager to join the Madi Lane journey, and presenting our much-loved and brand new creations to the UK bridal world. The runway is another highlight for us - the pinnacle of our creation period - presenting our beautiful new designs to the wonderful UK retailers of the bridal world!
