An insiders view on some of the key trends this season, straight from the eyes of UK talent, Unbridled Studio…

Following a standout season, Unbridled Studio, winner of Bridal Buyer’s Rising Star Award in 2025, has unveiled its expertly curated forecast of the trends defining modern bridal. Curated with a sharp commercial eye, their study is a close look at the details distilling key movements retailers should have on their radar.
We have seen texture used to add interest and depth through many collections this season. Both in the fabric choice itself and all how it is being manipulated by creatives. In its report, Unbridled Studio highlights organic 3D textures, textural contrasts and layers, as well as modern interpretation of florals. They say: “This takes the form of rich jacquards and crafted 3D embroideries. A shift towards modern romanticism. Textural contrasts and layers creates further depth.”
We are living in a time where modular dressing, layering, mixing and more is taking centre stage. We know more and more modern brides want to add personality and a unique vibe to their wedding day look. And, with bridal separates, this is easy to achieve, as well as for changing things up for multiple looks on the day. Unbridled Studio understood the assignment from the outset.
The trend report notes that changeability is about more than just a dress, it is about the rise in bridal separates that signifies a shift toward the multi-look wedding wardrobe. “It offers versatility and more scope for styling and personalisation. It mirrors how we would curate our wardrobe in everyday life.”
Statement separates emerged as a defining focus throughout Unbridled Studio’s latest runway presentation, reflecting that sense of versatility, ease and personal expression. “This was purposeful; pushing a sense of freedom and effortless confidence that is relevant to where contemporary weddings are heading.”
The final stop on Unbridled Studio’s trend report journey is all about playing with light, shadow, opacity, transparency. They note clean and contemporary volume, ethereal movement, sheer and opaque contrasts, textural lace. This interplay adds an easy sense of movement, so much interest in a light and playful way – ideal for brides that want a free-flowing look.
The studio notes: “Ethereal fluidity is reframed through a modern lens. Sheer organza is crafted into clean and contemporary silhouettes with volume that feels organic. Not overpowering.”
They call it goddess dressing for the modern bride, and it’s so apt. Especially thinking of Unbridled Studio’s use of contrast – satin and lace with texture to create depth, and play with ideas of fragility and strength.
